Price and subscription30%

41 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ First off, the pricing model is totally predatory.
★★★★★ Sure, you can use many of its features for free but the subscription cost if you do need to upgrade is just a complete joke.
★★★★★ I've been using this app for almost a decade and recently jumped back in after a year or so away and it looks like a mobile game with cluttered UI and an upsell to the subscription in every corner.

★★★★★ Will update my experience with emailing and dealing with company .
★★★★★ This went from a simple, useful, pomodoro timer app to some kind of life coach. It asks questions and requests expansive permissions to things like Screen Time. The app has become a time and focus waster now that may…

★★★★★ Unfortunately, this mobile app does not sync across Apple devices without the use of iCloud, so data you enter on the iPhone app does not show on the desktop web app or iPad.
★★★★★ It became too annoying so I just deleted the app.
★★★★★ Too many things to click past now. I just want to open the app, have the focus timer and break timer, be able to set those, and that's basically it. Over time the developers have crowded the screen, obscured buttons,…

★★★★★ I needed a 25 5 timer, it asks u bunch of questions for 5min and give u a 15 min timer u cant change, lol
★★★★★ They need to make it clear upfront the lack of this capability.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • I wish there was adhd music in the app available for background focus noise. 4★, Oct 5, 2026
  • Maybe it would be better to only have the pause button control the timer. 4★, Jul 13, 2026
  • I don't want a half assed planner in my timer, I want a timer I can easily figure out how to adjust- which I cannot. 1★, Jun 25, 2026
  • If you need a pomodoro timer this one is straight forward and not overly complicated. 5★, Jun 18, 2026
  • I haven't utilized may of the features and wish there was a less expensive pared down subscription option. 5★, Jan 23, 2026
  • I wish this were just a design flaw however with the premium paywall in edit task that doesnt let you change the break times, i assume this was on purpose which really sucks. 2★, Jan 14, 2026
  • Good for focusing, but really need a version for the MacBook Pro to make it fully effective 3★, Jan 10, 2026
  • I wish it would stop trying to be the gimmicky and clunky gamification apps. 2★, Dec 9, 2025

Amazing App

Amazing app i just wish some of the customization wasnt locked behind a subscription. I wanna be able to name my timers so Ik where my time is going and to what.

★★★★★Oct 12, 2026
Pleasantly Surprised

When it comes to apps like this that have paid versions, it usually means you hardly get anything substantial without paying. In other words, a paid app with extra steps and a demo. Here? I wanted a pomodoro timer, and that’s what I got. It works for my device, and has a decent array of other productivity features. I’m glad to see that an app with such high reviews really deserves the praise.

High School

This is so helpful, and beneficial when you struggle with managing your time and have online school. The flexibility is amazing but not having a structure or foundation getting started can leave you behind. This app lets you set the time and keeps you focused/on track when it comes to working and taking breaks. This app is amazing and I use it everyday.
