HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (72 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

★★★★★ Crimea belongs to Ukraine and not to Russia.
★★★★★ This app isn't reliable - it has fake maps and suggests non-existing territories.
Lost data, sync, backup6%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I purchased a new iPhone XS and when I open the app it did not transfer the places I visited nor did it restore my purchase.
★★★★★ The most glaring problem is the “sync” feature, which is not synchronization at all.
★★★★★ Im Gegensatz zu anderen Apps bietet diese hier keinen automatischen Sync zu iCloud an, was zur Folge hatte, dass alle Einträge nun weg sind.
Missing features6%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire missing entirely.
★★★★★ Even the Dubai airport is missing.
★★★★★ Somewhere is missing a location is Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan (from a cruise Carnival).

★★★★★ So now if I want to add places visited it wants to charge me $3.99 again!!
★★★★★ I don't want my money back, I would like the app I paid for.
★★★★★ Next tine I tried to use them the app tried to charge me again so it looks like I've wasted my money.

★★★★★ App no longer works and crashes when you try to go into it.
★★★★★ All it ever does is crash...

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ However an upload is not working!
★★★★★ Doesn't work at all though.
Limits, credits, locked features3%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I purchased the full version of this app only to realize it does not allow you to track the cities you've been to. It gives you regions which doesn't make sense. You have to google the region to see what cities it…
★★★★★ You have to pay for everything it's very misleading.
★★★★★ This app is cool to help me remember where I've been, but why do I have to pay for a United States map?
Worse after an update3%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Tried it a couple of times - the new update does not install
★★★★★ A recent update removed the ability to edit the names of the categories, making this app utterly useless for me.
★★★★★ This is unacceptable , the app violates the law, I think it should be removed from the Apple Store in case the map would not be updated.

More maps?

Where are the maps of Tuvalu, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, and Saint Vincent and the grenadines? Can’t you at least add them in the future update?

★★★★★May 13, 2026
World view

I’ve been using Mark O’Travel for 3 years to track where I’ve been (currently 134) and highlight areas of future interest. I love it’s flexibility in letting me select my own definition of “every country in the world” (for me 197: 193 UN members +2 observers plus almost universally recognized Kosovo & Taiwan).

★★★★★May 5, 2026
Good travel map, but…

This app is very easy to use an gives quite a good overview of my visited places, what I am missing is the option to add cities, villages and places, that are not on the integrated lists. The selection of regions could be easier if major cities would be indicated and not just plain fields. After the last update, I do not get the list of Italien airports, and the map showing the airports…..
