Price and subscription51%

66 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Keep asking me to buy subscription even tho every app have their subscriptions but at least they allow you to go in the app and browse this is completely trash.
★★★★★ i don't have $5 a month for this…i don't make any money off my art, this is all just for fun.
★★★★★ If I could give this app less than one star would, I really don't know why anyone would download or even use this app it doesn't do anything appreciably better than free photo apps or ones that you can buy and aren't…
Too many ads12%

15 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The ads are horrible, and it makes you download the filters individually and then it plays another ad while it downloads.
★★★★★ I downloaded this because the ads showed that you can make 3D photos.
★★★★★ when you see ads you think this is a cool app...

★★★★★ so i went and searched for it…and i found that the free version is still available, but if you want the full version, you have to pay $5 a month.
★★★★★ It's free to download but when it's finished and you go to the app it will tell you all the features but after you get finished with it, it will pull up a screen where you have to pay for it.
★★★★★ The limited version doesn't have a lot of options
Wrong or poor results8%

11 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ i'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied, and i'm working on trying to either reinstall the original app i already paid for or finding a completely new app instead because this is just wrong.
★★★★★ The prices listed in the App Store description are inaccurate… it says 4.99 per week whereas the actual app says 7.99 per week.

★★★★★ Omg, I downloaded this app and try it free and then I deleted, then started charging me 4.99 a week, A WEEK?
★★★★★ I have now been charged $4.99 for 3 weeks in a row and have gone in 2 times to make sure my subscription is cancelled yet for some reason it continues to bill me.
Missing features4%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I wanted to edit my photo, and you can't edit anything without buying the premium subscription.
★★★★★ There are no other options other than this one wiggling a fact, and you can't even change the direction it wiggles out.
★★★★★ I tried for a day and I am not satisfied, want to cancel my free trial but there's no option to do so
Crashes and freezes3%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I just discovered this app on Instagram. It seems cool but the store part won't ever work. And when I pick certain pictures from my camera roll it just kicks me out of the whole app. 🤷🏾‍♂️?? The one time it did work…
★★★★★ You can't even get passed the first screen without it freezing up.
★★★★★ Wants to charge you monthly to use it and it crashes every time I try to edit a photo.

Die App ist nur fürs Geld

3 Tage Testversion, danach 9 euro /woche oder 60 euro /6 monate. Keine kostenlosen Funktionen. Nein, danke. Gibt's genug andere gute Apps.

Not so great

This is for quick, sloppy, heavyhanded edits. If you're in the market for a professional photo editing app, let me save you some time and storage space: Filterloop isn't it. Calling Filterloop a professional tool is like calling a tricycle a Formula 1 race car – sure, they both have wheels, but that's where the similarities end. Filterloop may dazzle you with its array of pre-set filters and flashy effects, but when it comes to the nitty-gritty of true photo editing finesse, this app falls flat on its pixelated face. Trying to achieve professional results with Filterloop is like trying to sculpt a masterpiece with a butter knife – you're just not going to get the precision and control you need. If you're serious about your photography and demand top-notch editing capabilities, Filterloop will leave you feeling like you showed up to a black-tie event in a clown costume. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a tool that's truly up to the task. After all, your photos deserve better than a half-baked filter frenzy.

Mostly great app

Loving this app for adding overlays and blend mode textures. However, when I click on a "download" filter option, I just get taken to a new page with an error message that says, "Warning: Connection timed out" so I can't access a large portion of app options. I'm a paid user, too. Would love some support on this! Thanks.

yeah…it was awesome until they took the version i spent over $25 on off the app store

i love filterloop and i hate to write this review. i’ve used this app for SO MANY projects, and it worked like a charm…until one fateful day back in the day there were two filterloop apps: a free and a paid version. i bought the paid version and also bought all of the in-app content on top of that because i loved it so much…i’ve used it since 2016 or 2017 i believe. but just a few days ago, it was uninstalled from my phone because the app was taken off of the app store. i couldn’t believe it! so i went and searched for it…and i found that the free version is still available, but if you want the full version, you have to pay $5 a month. i don’t have $5 a month for this…i don’t make any money off my art, this is all just for fun. but i bought the app, i paid for it with my own money…and they just took it away. it’s like if i bought a TV and someone came and took my TV because it was outdated i’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied, and i’m working on trying to either reinstall the original app i already paid for or finding a completely new app instead because this is just wrong. i love you filterloop and i will miss you dearly if i can’t get you back :( <3
