Store description
Some cases never close. Unresolved tells the untold stories of real mysteries and crimes that were never solved, for everyone who loves a good mystery and true crime.
READ THE CASE
Each case is a short, carefully researched story told in chapters, from the first strange discovery to the theories that still divide investigators. Hand-drawn illustrations trace themselves in as you read, and file notes pull out the details that matter.
CASE FILES
Go over all the case files we gathered for you in every case, see every evidence list in a simple user experience.
CAST YOUR VERDICT
At the end of every case, vote on what you think really happened, then see how other readers ruled. Change your mind any time, and share your verdict with friends as a card with the case's drawing.
A NEW CASE EVERY FRIDAY
A sealed case file opens every week, with a countdown on the home screen. Turn on new case alerts and you'll know the moment it opens.
SHARE A CASE
Send a case to a friend. The link opens the case right in the app.
YOUR SHELF
Save the cases you want to come back to, synced to your account. The home screen picks up where you stopped reading.
SUPPORT IPAD AND IPHONE DUO
On iPad and on an open iPhone Duo, every case spreads across two pages like a book, with chapters you turn page by page and the case file beside the story. Mark the passages that matter as you read.
NEXT CASE WIDGET
Add the widget to your Home Screen or StandBy to count down to Friday's case and pick up where you stopped reading.
FREE TO READ
The first chapters of every case are open to everyone. Create a free account with Sign in with Apple, Google or email to open every chapter of every case. Every week's new case is free in full with an account, case file and Listen included, and each week you get one free unlock for any older case.
IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Every case is available in English, Arabic, Japanese, Russian and German, translated by our team. Pick your language in the app and the cases, menus and everything else follow, with Arabic read right to left.
PREMIUM
Listen to every case: each chapter is read aloud, even with your screen locked, with a choice of voices and speeds. And open the case file behind each story: a full timeline, the key places plotted on a map, every piece of evidence, and each theory laid out for and against. Choose yearly or monthly, each with a one-week free trial.
