Live Translator: Speech AI

UI fixes, and new languages added.

Live Translate helps two people speak across language barriers—face to face, with one iPhone. Choose two languages, hold the microphone while you speak, and release when you’re finished. Live Translate transcribes your words, translates them, and can read the result aloud for the other person. Switch turns and keep the conversation moving without stopping to type. MADE FOR REAL CONVERSATIONS • Voice-first translation for two people • Fast transcription and translation after you finish speaking • Spoken playback so the other person can listen • Simple turn switching and language swapping • Optional tabletop controls for conversations across from one another • Translation history saved locally on your device • Clean, focused interface designed for quick handoffs 12 SUPPORTED LANGUAGES Translate between English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, and Russian. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Live Translate records only while you hold the microphone. After you release, the recording is securely processed for transcription and translation, and the temporary audio file is deleted. Your translation history remains on your device until you choose to clear it. Whether you’re traveling, meeting someone new, helping a customer, or speaking with family and friends, Live Translate makes it easier to understand and be understood. An internet connection and an active subscription are required to perform translations. Introductory offer availability may vary.
