Standing Desk by StandProof

No release notes.

Every other stand up reminder takes your word for it. StandProof does not. Lay your phone flat on the desk, start a work session, and raise your standing desk when the timer fires. The barometer picks up the altitude change of roughly 50 cm, and the motion sensors confirm the phone was resting rather than in your hand. Only then does the stand count as verified. VERIFIED, NOT SELF-REPORTED - Barometric altitude detection confirms the desk actually went up - Motion sensors rule out a phone that was simply picked up and moved - No wearable, no smart-desk integration, no extra hardware - Works with any height-adjustable desk, manual or electric - No barometer on your phone? Confirm by hand instead and earn exactly the same BUILT FOR DESK WORK - Sit-stand timer on your own rhythm, not a fixed hourly nag - Defaults follow standard sit-stand ergonomics guidance: 30 minutes seated, 8 minutes standing - A real alarm ends each phase, so it reaches you through Silent Mode and Focus - Standing time tracked per day and week, with a 12-week heatmap - Full coin history so you can see the weeks you actually moved EARN COINS FOR STANDING UP - Finish a standing phase and you earn 10 coins - Ignore the prompt until it runs out and 10 coins go back - That is the whole economy: two numbers, no randomness, no gambling - Nothing is staked to start a session, so the app never charges you to be reminded - Your balance can never go below zero DRESS THE DESK CAT - A cat lives on your home screen and follows your session: sleeping, prompting, standing, celebrating - Every completed stand levels it up and unlocks a collar, a sofa, glasses, a crown - Spend your coins on a scarf, headphones or a desk plant - Share your cat and your level as a card WHY IT MATTERS Long uninterrupted sitting is the default of desk work, and a reminder you can dismiss without moving does not change it. StandProof closes that loop. The phone on your desk is the sensor, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to wear. COINS ARE OPTIONAL Coins are earned by standing up. If you would rather not wait, coin packs are available as one-time in-app purchases. Coins have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and are never required to run a session or receive a reminder. There is no subscription. Stop taking your own word for it. Prove you stood up. --- By downloading this app you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
