Store description
A farm of your own, running in real time. Sow it, stock it, sell it, and grow it from a rented smallholding into an agricultural empire.
Farm Director is a deep farming tycoon you can play offline. The clock runs while you play, at one, two or four times speed, and stops itself whenever something needs your answer. Put the phone down and the farm waits for you.
ONE BOARD, EVERYTHING ON IT
Your fields, barns, shops and machines sit on one board. Tap anything to see what it needs and do it in one move: cultivate, sow, spray, harvest, feed, sell. Jobs waiting on you are flagged, so a busy week never hides the thing that matters.
FIELDS AND SEASONS
Ten crops, from wheat, barley and oilseed rape to potatoes, maize, field beans and salad. Plant an orchard or a vineyard and wait seasons for the first real crop. Soil health shapes every yield, and the weather has the final word.
HARVEST
When a crop comes ready the clock stops and you bring it in day by day. Rain costs days, combines break down, and the grain comes in as premium, standard or feed. Weather cover pays out when it goes wrong, if you bought it.
ANIMALS
Hens, sheep, dairy cows, pigs and bees. Build their housing, keep them in condition, call the vet when they fall ill, and earn from eggs, milk, wool and honey every week.
THE MARKET
Prices move every week, with a year of history to read. Sell at harvest, hold the grain in store for a better week, or sign a buyer's contract at a premium and deliver on time.
THE SHOP
Open a farm shop, then a bakery, a butcher's counter, a tearoom and the Plough Inn. Stock them from your own fields and herds. Summer, the harvest festival and the Christmas rush pack the tills.
LAND AND BUILDINGS
A real land market with soil, size and condition on every listing. Clear rough ground into new fields, drain the wet ones, merge neighbours into bigger fields, and build stores, workshops and polytunnels.
THE YARD
Tractors, cultivators, drills, spreaders, sprayers, trailers and combines. Buy new, buy used after an inspection, or take finance. Every machine wears, and the old ones pick harvest week to fail.
PEOPLE AND RESEARCH
Hire across eleven roles, from farmhand and herdsman to vet, mechanic and farm manager. Train them, pay their raises, and keep them when a rival comes calling. Research 24 upgrades, from GPS autosteer to robotic milking and an online farm store.
THE BUSINESS
Loans against the farm, weather cover, year-end tax and a monthly report on every pound. Rise through eight farm classes from Smallholding to Agri-Empire, race five rival farms on value, and get a graded review at the end of every year. Sixty-eight written incidents put hard choices in front of you along the way.
SEVEN WAYS IN
Inherit Dutch loam with money in the bank, join a family partnership in France, take a prairie block in Iowa or a first tenancy in the UK. Or take on reclaimed land in Ukraine, the Australian drylands, or a Kenyan debt sale with the bank already waiting.
INDUSTRY (OPTIONAL PURCHASE)
Six plants that turn crops into goods worth more: a flour mill, brewery, press house, creamery, winery and feed mill. Cheese and wine improve with age in the cellar. Bought once, for every farm.
