Ashbook: Cigar Humidor

Polish: the app now asks for a rating at a better moment, and never more than once a month.

Never lose your collection again. Ashbook is a premium, offline cigar humidor app and inventory tracker for the serious aficionado — a local-first humidor, collection tracker, and tasting journal that lives on your phone and backs itself up automatically. There is no account and no server, so your sticks can never be silently wiped on an update, a new phone, or a login that fails. If you've ever lost a couple hundred cigars, your humidors, and every journal entry to an app that erased itself, Ashbook is the answer. Your collection is yours, and it stays on your device. WHY ASHBOOK • Offline cigar humidor app — opens, lists, and logs instantly with no internet and no login. Your humidor never needs a network. • Never loses your collection — local storage, automatic on-device backup, and one-tap export/restore. Backup is free for everyone, never a paywall. • Always addable — boutique, Cuban, second-hand, and special-edition sticks are never rejected. Add any cigar by hand in about ten seconds. • Ad-free, honest, and built to last. A REAL CIGAR INVENTORY TRACKER Catalog every stick: brand, line, vitola, ring gauge, length, wrapper, country, quantity, price, where you bought it, box code, and notes. Search your whole collection in a tap. This is the cigar collection tracker and cigar count tracker the catalog apps should have been. A HUMIDOR HUMIDITY TRACKER THAT ACTUALLY MONITORS Most apps are just lists. Ashbook is a true cigar humidor tracker app: log RH and temperature over time, get drift alerts when a humidor slips below your target (“RH drifting below 62%”), keep Boveda recharge and re-season reminders, and watch a “don't over-pack” capacity gauge. Finally, a humidor monitor app and humidity tracker that does the humidor's real job. CIGAR AGING TRACKER & “READY TO SMOKE” TIMELINE Cigars improve with rest, so Ashbook surfaces it. Every stick gets a Resting → Maturing → Prime → Past-prime status from its rest date, plus a “ready this month” shelf — the cigar rest tracker and cigar aging tracker no one else builds. COLLECTION VALUE & INSURANCE MANIFEST Track per-stick cost and total humidor value, then export a dated PDF/CSV manifest for insurance or estate planning. A cigar collection value tracker and cigar price tracker in one. A PREMIUM CIGAR TASTING JOURNAL Rate and write up every smoke. Add flavor-wheel tags and let Ashbook build your palate profile (“you rate maduros 0.4 stars higher”) with rule-based pairing and occasion ideas. The cigar tasting journal app and cigar smoking log a premium collector deserves. FREE, AND FAIR Free forever: one humidor, up to 25 cigars, the tasting journal, search, and the full automatic backup/export — the trust promise is never paywalled. Ashbook+ unlocks the whole collection, 100% on-device: • Unlimited humidors and cigars • Humidor climate monitoring, RH-drift alerts, and Boveda reminders • Aging / “ready to smoke” timelines • Collection value and insurance/estate manifest export • Advanced tasting: flavor wheel, palate profile, pairings Ashbook+ pricing: $3.99/month, $24.99/year (with a 7-day free trial), or $49.99 once for lifetime. All three unlock the same features. Billing is store-managed — cancel anytime in the App Store. No card needed to start, and we never hold your subscription or your data hostage.
