Measure land area, perimeter, and distance right on a map — no tools, no guesswork. Field Maps with Area Measure turns your iPhone and iPad into a precise land measuring tool for fields, plots, parcels, roofs, and lawns. Tap points on satellite imagery to draw a boundary, or start GPS and walk, drive, or fly the perimeter — the app traces the shape and calculates the area automatically. TWO WAYS TO MEASURE • Tap to draw — drop pins on the map to outline any field or parcel. A magnifier loupe makes every point pixel-precise. • Walk the boundary — turn on GPS tracking and move along the edge; the app records your path and closes the shape for you. ACCURATE, REAL-WORLD RESULTS • Geodesic math on the WGS-84 ellipsoid — true area and perimeter on the curved earth, not flat-map estimates. • Switch units instantly: acres, hectares, square meters, and square feet. Distance in meters, kilometers, feet, or miles. WORKS WHERE YOU WORK • Fully offline in the field — measure, save, and organize with no signal. • Save every measurement with its map and revisit it anytime. BUILT FOR TEAMS • Workspaces let your whole crew share the same fields, plots, and notes. • Invite members with one share code; set each person as owner, editor, or viewer. • Edits sync automatically — even after working offline. • Site photos and notes are shared with everyone on the team. • Send a public web link so anyone can view a measurement in a browser. EXPORT YOUR DATA • Esri Shapefile (.shp, .shx, .dbf) and DXF for CAD — open your fields directly in QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD and farm management software. • CSV for spreadsheets, KML and KMZ for Google Earth, GeoJSON, GPX and plain text. • PDF reports with a map, your notes and site photos — or a public web link anyone can open in a browser. WHO IT'S FOR Farmers and growers, field teams and crews, property owners, landscapers and builders, foresters and surveyors, and real estate pros — anyone who needs to measure land area or distance on the go. No account required to start measuring. Free to download.
