Ambient Album

Ambient Album 2.0 adds Immich support alongside Apple Photos. Connect to an Immich server with an API key, choose Immich albums or All Immich Images, and include those photos in the Ambient Album slideshow with familiar metadata and display options. New in this update: - Immich photo source support alongside Apple Photos - Immich sign-in from Settings with server URL and API key - Secure Immich API-key storage - Immich album picker with album thumbnails and photo counts - All Immich Images selection - Capture Date metadata overlay for Apple Photos and Immich photos - Side-by-side metadata for paired slideshow photos Fixes in this update: - Improved empty Apple Photos album preview handling by trying multiple recent image assets. - Improved Apple Photos album counts and thumbnails by filtering album previews to image assets. - Fixed random slideshow ordering so Random reshuffles the loaded photo list. - Improved Immich loading performance for large albums and All Immich Images. - Improved Immich image counts by using asset statistics when available. - Improved Immich loading cancellation so stale album, image, and photo-load tasks do not update the slideshow after settings change. - Improved slideshow loading feedback when progress is known but total count is still unavailable. - Fixed side-by-side metadata so the right pane tracks and updates the right-side photo. - Fixed delayed screen dimming so stale brightness updates are ignored if the display state changes. - Improved mixed-source selection handling so Apple Photos and Immich choices do not unintentionally replace each other except for each source's All option.
