I love being able to edit videos independently as a Voiceover user thanks to this app! More and more features are being added to make editing easier and I couldn't be happier! Keep up the great work!

To start, I'd like to say that this app has a lot of neat and useful features. I like that it can edit both audio and video as well as adding audio and video effects. However, the one big flaw I noticed and is really hard to work around is the trimming and cutting. As of now, the app only lets you select whole seconds, and an audio file I want to edit annoyingly has the part I want removed between the seconds. If there was a way to type in exact seconds, including decimals, that would help. Without precise seconds decimals, many edits are impossible to do. I would also like to suggest a couple additions and features. I would like the ability to directly record into an empty project and then have the ability to edit when done recording. I would also love to see an audio reverse feature unless I missed it. And finally, a vocal remover would be a nice thing to add to the extra tools. We have a noise remover, so having the other end of the spectrum would complete the whole package.

I really love this app, the only issue is some of my files and up on Google Drive so I need to figure out a weird work around to get my audio files in the regular Files app. If it is possible to add an option for Google Drive that would be amazing!! Thank you this app is truly accessible.

So, I'm a content creator and I've been using this app since July. I've done others, but they don't compare to this. It's great for being able to cut and trim, and do everything else that it would be more harder to do somewhere else. While I could use other video editors, there are more things that are inaccessible to do except this one. Here are suggestions for improvement, the ability to select multiple photos or videos to add, and when editing an audio file and you want to convert it to video, don't just explore it until the user hits export, that way they can add a title hook or subtitles because you can't do that on audio files only videos at the moment. Overall, when editing, audio, or video it's good for either of those.

I am totally blind and use VoiceOver, and zEdit is the most accessible and capable video editing apps I have ever used. I recently completed a full memorial video project entirely with zEdit. I was able to import multiple video clips, arrange scenes, add a complete song, adjust the timing of individual clips, trim sections precisely, mute unwanted audio, and export the finished video. Those may sound like ordinary video editing features, but for a blind VoiceOver user, being able to actually access and control them independently is a huge deal. What impressed me most is how much depth the app has without sacrificing accessibility. zEdit does not feel like a basic editor with a few accessible buttons added afterward. It feels like accessibility was considered throughout the app. VoiceOver gives useful information, controls are understandable, and I was able to move through a fairly complicated project without constantly running into inaccessible screens or unlabeled controls. The timing tools were especially helpful. I could work with very specific points in the video, adjust where scenes ended, and make changes that affected the final flow of the project. I was also able to remove audio from a clip when background sounds became distracting. That level of control allowed me to create something much more polished than I expected I would be able to make independently. My project involved many individual scenes and several rounds of editing, and zEdit handled it beautifully. By the time I finished, I had created a complete video that was over four minutes long and included music, multiple video clips, carefully adjusted timing, and a finished ending. For anyone who uses VoiceOver and has struggled to find an accessible video editor, I strongly recommend giving zEdit a try. It is powerful, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely useful rather than merely technically accessible. A huge thank you to the developer for creating an app that gives blind users real access to video editing. zEdit made it possible for me to complete a project that was very meaningful to me, and I am extremely grateful for it.
