New Book Log

I just downloaded this app after seeing it on TikTok advertised as an app to review and record your reading progress to grow trees! No AI supposedly used and the art style is very cute and easy to navigate and join reading groups to find others with a similar reading tastes! Plus, if you have the premium, every 3 books finished = 1 tree planted! Great concept, hopefully the attraction of the app is able to be maintained. :)

Not the best

The idea behind it is cute, but it’s too basic. I’m not at all impressed with the Goodreads import function. It completely screwed up my finished book count, which is noticeably inaccurate and missing numerous books, not to mention books in my DNF and my want to read listings. Also, to actually plant real trees, you have to pay for a subscription. But the app is too basic to make it worth paying for. Even the free version of Fable has more and better features than this one. Perhaps with more updates, it will become something worth spending money on, but right now it isn’t. There are better tracking apps than this out there.
