I went to the beach quite some time ago, and I happened to drop my phone in the water while recording the waves. My phone clearly had water inside, so I rushed over and tried my best to get the water out the phone. Now yes, one of the most common methods was rice in a bowl and let my phone rest in it, But I wanted to try something different; maybe a deep cleaning? Where I was at, there happened to be no “water removal” or anything like a store to help get water out or to fix the phone. So I got home, tried the rice, let it sit overnight, still no improvement, my phone wouldn’t turn on nor give me a warning of water detected. Somehow, I managed to get the phone on from constantly putting the charger in the phone. It was at 1% so I tried keeping the charger inside the phone, but after 20 minutes I came back to check on my phone, and the charging symbol was vanished from my battery bar. I tried searching up for a solution to vacate the water out my phone, and later found an app that claimed “it removes water”. So I indeed tested that theory…..My results? Nothing helpful. It plays a vibration in the phone, and it tells you to have the phone facing down. Sounds professional, but doesn’t do anything productive. My phone still was declining the charger, and later after weeks of trying methods, the charger worked, my phone didn’t stay off. And I found a solution. Wait weeks of trying the same process that Google may give you to vacate the water. Rather be patient then no results!
