Scam!

This is probably the worst bait and switch app I’ve ever seen. What they show you get vs what you actually get are completely different. I’m trying to figure out how to cancel, which hasn’t proven easy either.

What a scam - DANGEROUS! STAY AWAY!

How can they have an average of 4.6 stars by over 2000 reviews when I just extended it out as far as I can go and there are only 51 actual reviews? Of those 51 actual reviews, 48 give one star and call it a scam. The three that give it five stars were written, most likely by friends or by themselves because this is what the reviews say: “ok”. Yep, that’s it. I am now trying to get my money back from this bait and switch Scam operation. It’s run out of Turkey, which is why I have Interpol and the United States Attorneys Office (San Francisco) looking into this. Do not purchase this app. It’s fake. Any little thing they advertise will require you to buy the pro version once you’ve already paid the initial cost ($19.99 followed immediately by $14.99). If you want a great app that does the things that they claim here, just subscribe to FlightRadar24, which is located here in the App Store. There is a free version so you don’t even have to pay if you don’t want to. I choose to pay the six dollars so that I have access to everything. But that’s up to you. My entire adult career was in law-enforcement and public safety, and I know a scam and a bait and switch when I see one. And this one is obvious. Put pressure on them to get your money back. They know they’re not providing a real product and they’re going to have to pay for it both financially and legally. I’m surprised the App Store has not shut these people down. But that’s okay, because the United States Consumer Fraud and Protection Office as well as Interpol and the US Attorney should be enough influence on Apple to remove this crime from their App Store.
