Works well, but quirks are annoyingThis works well as long as you aren’t using a KVM switch. I do wish it would show the dark mode icons instead of always sticking with light mode regardless of the system setting.
I also wish that it would allow multiple docks for multiple tabs, instead of putting all your tabs into the one.
Re the KVM, each time I switch from computer to computer this app forgets if it’s docked or not. So it gets annoying to have to always dock it each time I switch back.

Great app, exactly what I neededVery few apps do exactly that is missing on a Mac, this is one of them. I use it multiple times per day, especially since Apple has removed the Launch Pad from the latest OS. I love how I can put links and folders and files there and have super quick access to them.

Almost perfect!2nd day of playing with this app
Cons
* App Icon in Command + Tab - Can’t find a way to hide/disable so clutters Command Tab combo workflow.
* Colors - lil weird trying to theme as it ‘tints’ the color with the UIk
Pro’s
* Opacity matches the glassy MacOS style so looks clean
* Customizations - Renaming and changing the font size is my big one for my OCD.
* Useful for organizing apps, especially after Adobe CC makes a hot mess of the Application folder!
Worth $10 and excited to see updates for added features. Could be like a virtual ‘stream deck’

FinallySince the DragThing guy abandoned us I have bought several lauchers, tried many more, both free and paid, and none have come as close as DockThings. A couple were contenders, even doing a thing or two better than DockThings (relating to networked shares). The developers are addressing this and I have all hope that they will improve. Based on what it does do I have no problem giving DockThings 5 stars.
A couple features special to DockThings:
1) Until DockThings, in every app I’ve tried that offers tabs (including DragThing back in the day), I’ve avoided using them because going from tab to tab was a pain as it required too much precision in my mousing (a keyboarder I am not). I can swipe on my trackpad in DockThings. HUGE difference in usage.
2) No other app does weblinks like DockThings - puts a perfect icon (uses a favicon?) into its dock, options to have a site open in different popup sizes (with a button to open the site if then needed/wanted), or to simply have a site opened in your browser.
So, upon its initial release, one heckuva piece of mature software from a proven team of developers. Options galore! Easy on Memory. Support is as good as it gets - prompt and thorough.

Very Good!Does what it is supposed to do, beautifully. I would like to request some features
1. Ability to show/hide on global keyboard shortcut
2. Floating mode to stay above other windows
3. Ability to execute scripts / copy text to clipboard (snippets)

Great App - Could Use Some ImprovementThis app has been great for the most part, with a few caveats/frustrations/Suggestions for improvement.
1. This was my main frustration, any app that is set to have a dark mode icon gets changed to the light mode version when put into the dock, and the change icon setting only allows PNG images for icons if you want to change them. So I had to export PNG’s from all the dark mode Apple native apps to PNG’s just to get the icon in the dock to change to the dark mode version.
2. It would be great to be able to have the dock duplicated on multiple screens.
3. It would be nice to be able to group apps by type on a tab like in my folders with a line dividing them, like I could put a group of utilities apps and creative apps on the same tab, but separated by a line with the name of the group.
4. I don’t like the hover to open settings when the dock is not floating, the hover isn’t very reliable, and if you accidentally click it opens whatever app you land on because the cursor doesn’t follow the tab while it opens, it would be nice to have a setting that lets you click on the tab you want to open, then have the cursor follow that tab, then move the cursor to select the app.
Small things, but still improvements that would be easy and really improve the functionality of the app.
