GearPaw Defenders!

I’ve been playing this game for about six months, and I really enjoyed it at first. However, the longer I played, the more I realized how unbalanced the game is. The game offers six different elements to play, but the balance between them is terrible. Physical is significantly stronger than the others, yet the developers have done little to address the imbalance. The game has also continued to reduce free rewards and benefits over time. Even worse, some resources that players invested time and effort into obtaining have been abandoned or made useless without proper notice or compensation. What frustrates me most is the lack of response to player feedback. Many players have complained about these issues, but they remain unresolved. It increasingly feels like the focus is on getting players to spend more money rather than improving the game and respecting the time and effort of the player community. The game had a lot of potential and was enjoyable in the beginning, but the poor balance, shrinking free benefits, abandoned resources, and lack of meaningful response to player feedback have made the experience increasingly disappointing.

I’ve been playing this game for over a year and really enjoyed it, but this latest update completely changed how I feel about it. It feels like the developers went way too money-hungry. Progress that used to take around a month as a free-to-play player now feels like it could take five months or more. So much of improving your team is essentially locked behind paywalls that F2P progression barely feels viable anymore. I understand a game needs to make money, but there’s a difference between offering worthwhile purchases and making the game intentionally frustrating unless you spend. After supporting and playing for a year, this update has seriously lost my trust.

The new events they add are infuriating, it’s quite literally impossible to complete the events they drop prime example being go squirrel go. Another thing is that EVERYTHING is only pay to win, every single event that isn’t impossible to complete costs money to do anything with. Even then they still ask like 20$ for like 10 rolls and you get the equivalent of dog piss.

I have played this game for almost an entire year, since nearly the beginning. Unfortunately you cannot go by previous reviews of this game which used to be good. They have done many recent updates that allowed ONLY paid players to get important items. For example the anniversary event required about $100 to get a single copy of the high quality items, which you need 5 of to max. Cannot suggest playing this game after recent changes.
