Cannot create account

I was excited to check out this app. I entered the desired email and password. It sent me a link to my email to confirm the email, but every time I clicked the link, it said that I could not confirm my email. I decided to try with a different email and the same thing happened. So, I was never able to create an account to use the app, which is the first step. If they make it so complicated to even create an account, how can people use this application? Perhaps they want to force me to use my Apple ID so they have my card information to force me to buy their products.
