Happy to discover DuckDuckGo, which I’ve found very useful and a wonderful alternative to the other one where privacy seems to be an issue. It took me a little bit to adapt, different format, but now conduct 80% of searches through DDG.
Keep the address bar in one place, or make it more efficient. When scrolling, the address bar transformation makes kills the frame rate.
Like most people, I started looking for web browsing alternatives when simple browsing became a maelstrom of ads, trackers and just adding to the growing mediums in which to scam me if I simply wanted to do something trivial like buy a new pair of shoes. After one year of using DuckDuckGo, scam calls have been reduced nearly 80%. Fraud occurrences on my financial statements are few and far between. DuckDuckGo isn’t the “hero we deserve”, but they are the “hero we need” right now. In the modern era, for my money, DuckDuckGo is the ONLY internet browsing platform presenting the internet in its purest form. Combine with NordVPN for added protection.
