WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Price and subscription41%

175 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The video feeds seem to be the same video feeds as Tennis TV (which is ATP only and no challenger coverage, and more expensive), but there is no way to watch without the horrendous Tennis Channel commentators.
★★★★★ When stream broken, app ripoff.
★★★★★ It glitches and scratches, I tried this app years ago and cancelled subscription and tried again 2026 and it's still bad.

★★★★★ So far, the streaming of matches is high quality and, as previously enjoyed, the lack of commentators for early rounds is still appreciated.
★★★★★ This makes using the app so much cleaner, and really brings out the upsides of the Tennis Channel: its vast library of games past and present, WTA coverage, and fun additional content.
★★★★★ I really enjoy the access to live and on-demand tennis through this app — it's one of the best ways to follow both ATP and WTA matches.

App won’t even open. Wheel just spins on the loading page. When it did work was very buggy. Do better.

Awful Commentary/Bad quality

Update: quality is now terrible for the Asia swing. Continue to stream via a wired fiber connection and the quality is dismal and the app is insanely buggy. It is so frustrating to watch an hour of a match and then for it to go blank, freeze, and not come back online until later for the replay. Even the replays have huge technical issues. This is pathetic for 2026, imo. Not sure why it changed later in the year, but this app is miserable now. The video feeds seem to be the same video feeds as Tennis TV (which is ATP only and no challenger coverage, and more expensive), but there is no way to watch without the horrendous Tennis Channel commentators. They are insufferable. Give me a way to watch matches without them (I like the ambient sound, so mute isn’t a great option). Tennis channel app also has great use of split screen, showing up to four matches at once and allowing you to select which one gives audio as well. The app appears to be slightly less quality in bit depth than Tennis TV (resolution is the same), and this is using a 2G fiber connection. But I am guessing at that because it’s not obvious. The quality of the video feed, at least with a very fast connection, is quite good. Layout of the app is excellent. It gives a breakdown by court, which is much harder to find on Tennis TV. I much prefer the layout and organization of Tennis Channel for watching a current tournament (Tennis TV has every ATP match for past decades and it’s easy to intuitively find those). But since I cannot stand the Tennis Channel’s commentators, I watch via Tennis TV (ATP’s direct service). Unfortunately, the commentators make me hate this app. I wish I could fire all of them (Jim Courier is fine), but that’s a joke, but I really do I could just switch off the commentary. If so, I would be a permanent subscriber.

Good ole reliable

I love how I can just open this app anywhere and watch live tennis. I’ve been a member for about 2 years, using it almost daily and I only remember it not working properly once or twice. 99% reliable, not to mention the fact that it’s a really fair price for how much live tennis they stream. I appreciate the other content they put out as well.

★★★★★Sep 27, 2026
Look at the other sports apps and fix yours!

Cuts to commercial at deuce. Can’t rewind more than 30 minutes. Slow to post replays. Ad infinitum. Look at hbo. ESPN improved. Tennis tv improved a bit. You can fix it!

★★★★★Sep 24, 2026
Mostly good but poor formatting

Have been subscribed to Tennis Channel for over a year and for the most part am happy with it as there are so many matches covered. There is the occasional glitch but it is not too common. One of my biggest issues is how we access the matches. To watch replays, for example, of a match we missed live, we have to scroll way down even past the winner interview... spoiler much! Is this a business decision and not a tennis fan decision?
