When you upgrade your service you should not loose every song you created

If you really enjoy the app and you want to move up to yearly subscription; when you upgrade, it removes every song you created, all your playlists. Contacted support; awaiting an answer. When this occurred I removed yearly and went back to monthly; probably compounding the complexity. All songs gone from the iPhone; Apple mini pad still in the past; with all songs and playlists; afraid to make any more adjustments and hoping IPad will keep the many songs I created. Hopefully support has a real answer; no word yet. Not happy.😊
