They changed the game

The recent changes have made the game less enjoyable. The medal levels are meaningless and the new ways to solve the puzzle are frustrating. Also the child-like tiles are embarrassing to play.

They played an incredible bait and switch. Their ad says if you pay a very small amount, you go ad-free. Then they make the game harder so you need tools that you can only get by watching painfully long ads. It’s really very disappointing. And because they continually add new tiles, it makes it harder and harder to get through a single game without watching at least one ad. Generally 2. And you play at least 50 games and it can be the same ad over and over and over. It’s horrible for anyone who enjoys actual Mahjong.
