★★★★★ I wasn't super impressed with the trail and thought I had cancelled it in time, but I was charged for a full year.
★★★★★ I got charged for a year even though I cancelled.
★★★★★ You should give a free trial of everything not just the chat because I have no idea.

★★★★★ So many bugs that make it unpleasant to use.
★★★★★ I checked the status of my subscription and it was on the free plan so I reached out to their support staff thinking it was done in error.
★★★★★ Takes 30 seconds to grade your pronunciation for a four word sentence and it takes three or four tries to even get it to recognize your submission

★★★★★ I contacted support and provided a screenshot of the charge, but the replies kept saying they couldn't find a charge associated with my email address.
★★★★★ I checked the status of my subscription and it was on the free plan so I reached out to their support staff thinking it was done in error.
★★★★★ Reached customer support their only reply was it's handled through Apple.
7 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ The billing issue and lack of helpful support bring my overall rating to one star.
★★★★★ The application is severely disorganized and lacks any intuitive structure, making it difficult to navigate, inefficient to use, and ultimately not user-friendly, as even basic tasks require unnecessary effort and time…
★★★★★ 4.Missing Repeat/Loop Feature: A repeat option is essential in any language app, especially for repeating and mastering new sentences without constantly tapping.

★★★★★ I just did the free trial now I'm trying to get my money back from my credit card.
★★★★★ i couldn't even use the app because i don't have a debit/credit card, its not like duolingo where you can use the app freely and paying is optional, so i don't know how am i gonna experience something before i pay so i…
★★★★★ Especially since most AI runs by tokens and not with time.

★★★★★ The app is completely useless unless you sign up for a paid plan first.
★★★★★ Was able to access content with initial setup, but now the login screen locks up every time.
★★★★★ Sadly I couldn't even try this app due to Error received sayin I had “ invalid or missing info” on the screen where I add my personal info: name email password Guess I'll stick w DuoLingo😑

★★★★★ I thought this would be an amazing app because it actually has European Portuguese but I was wrong.
★★★★★ The app is completely useless unless you sign up for a paid plan first.
★★★★★ The voice also is generally inaccurate when it comes to the tones, and when it grades your speech the tones make no effect on your grade.

★★★★★ Takes 30 seconds to grade your pronunciation for a four word sentence and it takes three or four tries to even get it to recognize your submission
★★★★★ On my phone, it gives me an error message, telling me “error processing subscription: missing required parameters for subscription creation.” and on computer (the website) it straight up goes to a loading screen that…
★★★★★ I can't even follow along with the pronunciation part as the speaker talks SO FAST and there's no option (that I've found) that allows to slow the speech.

★★★★★ Very helpful tool for learning the Russian language.
★★★★★ I've been using Talkpal AI for language learning, and honestly, it's been a game changer for me.
★★★★★ Great but flash cards like quizlet would be game changer
11 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ I enjoy this but I would like to learn with the courses, as they are locked by premium, I'd want them to be unlocked and have less restrictions from premium.
★★★★★ It might obviate the need for learning, however I enjoy language.
★★★★★ Overall, Talkpal AI makes language learning feel natural, flexible, and actually enjoyable.
7 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ J'ai apprise à me débrouiller pour parler la langue de mon grâce à Talkpal, et vous ça sera encore simple.
★★★★★ The convenience alone makes it easy to stay consistent—I can practice anytime without needing to schedule anything or rely on someone else.
★★★★★ I like this app a lot it's not too hard but it's not too easy and it definitely can improve your language skills.
6 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ Open a fee days free in premium and let's experience it
★★★★★ And in place of asking questions, it says things like, “if you need any more help, feel free to ask“ or “I'm here if you have any questions.” I understand the premise of the system, so I don't need to be reminded with…
★★★★★ Like it but hate that i can only talk for 10 min and can't practice speaking in the free versión
3 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ All that said, I am learning so fast now because of the ability to talk and receive correction, and there's zero embarrassment over how long it might take me to express myself, or what mistakes I have made.
★★★★★ I've been trying the app for about three or four hours and I noticed that for the feedback you have to click on it to learn about your mistakes, so it will be great when you're speaking if you get instant feedback like…
★★★★★ Instant feedback on your language errors.

I should’ve known better. I wasn’t super impressed with the trail and thought I had cancelled it in time, but I was charged for a full year. Honestly I wouldn’t risk the download if you’re not independently wealthy. Having the default plan after a free trail be a full (non-refundable) year is predatory and gross.
I got charged for a year even though I cancelled. The app sucks. I deleted it even though I paid for it unknowingly. That should tell you something
The problem is is you’re only allowing me to test chat and there’s other functions that you’re expecting me to pay for them to get them. I don’t even know how they work. You should give a free trial of everything not just the chat because I have no idea. Do not know if the other things are good or not unless I try them.
Learned nothing. This option is not for everyone !
I canceled my 14-day TalkPal AI trial after 10 days because I wasn’t using it as much as other tools for learning Italian. The app was okay, but its responses felt generic and didn’t adapt well to how I learn. Despite canceling before the trial ended, I was charged $89.99. I contacted support and provided a screenshot of the charge, but the replies kept saying they couldn’t find a charge associated with my email address. I have yet to receive an explanation or a refund. I would have rated the app itself two stars. The billing issue and lack of helpful support bring my overall rating to one star.
I thought this would be an amazing app because it actually has European Portuguese but I was wrong. You only get 10 minutes of learning every day. Instead of being helpful, it only spoke to me in Portuguese and its really hard to have a conversation that doesn’t feel like talking to an AI. I wanted an app that I can learn what I want but I guess I will have to keep looking.
