Wonderful and calm!I’ve been playing this game for a while now and I love how cute and fun it is. My favorite part is there’s no ads I have never felt cornered to spend money or forced to watch ads which has in return made me appreciate when I do have the option to watch one. I really love this game and I hope it never changes. Thanks for making a wholesome peaceful game :)

Neutral; Idle depends on your definition!True idle games continue to earn while offline, this game? You can send critters to do tasks but in my opinion I don’t consider them true idle games. It truly depends on your idea of “idle” gaming & I would say majority of idle gamers wouldn’t consider this as idle (imo idle being where a game will build resources while away cuz they stop like the bees don’t continue collecting etc the projects continue (like ud expect from majority of games in general but to be true idle? No you have to come & collect cuz they have a max limit) I’m gonna give 3/5⭐️only cuz I just started so staying as neutral as possible & 2.5 isn’t possible. I like that there’s a storyline (in a comic/role play format. Love that. Not sure how to describe it). Comparing this to their other games like hatch dragons & bird kind. It’s cute, as a beginner, I’m willing to give it a chance. Easy, laid back game play, again I’m hung up on “idle” cuz not sure if I would consider an idle game since there’s a need to be a bit present? My review doesn’t make much sense even to me & I’m playing but I suggest trying. It might not ‘bee the buzz’ for everyone but it’s cute simplistic nature might hit the hive for others. Also there’s a sorta goal? Complete the map style? When I think true idle games I think they continue making the resources while player(s) are offline, their games require visitation in order for progression & thats likely why I don’t consider them as true idle games 🐝😘. I’m hung up on the term idle in case you can’t tell.
Give it a chance, I always suggest trying for a month before considering stopping but if you know it’s not for you then you’ll know & likely not download in first place. I will admit progression hasn’t been too bad so far.

Good game overallI have really enjoyed this game so far. It is cozy and relaxing but there is no way to store flowers but there is for decorations. So there’re a few flowers that don’t match color design and I just have to shove them in a corner. Please think about adding this.

I love it but it has issuesI absolutely love this game, I appreciate the good message, the scientific bee names, and just the overall gameplay. What I am disappointed in is the issue where there are times when you just can’t play the game because it can’t find internet. Even when I’m connected to my own home WiFi with every other app and device working I will encounter this issue with honey grove. It also speaks to a larger issue, why is WiFi required to play the game at all? I understand why it is needed to view ads and to play the limited time events, but unless you’re connected to WiFi the game won’t let you past the loading screen. It seems pretty weird for a game that is self contained. It’s upsetting because I adore this game and I’m absolutely addicted to playing it, but I get very frustrated when I’ll get locked out of the game seemingly at random.

Fantastic Fun!!!I’ve been playing this game for about a three weeks now & it’s safe to say I’m hooked. I really enjoy Runaway Games so I’ve been doing a few - Hatch Dragons & Splash also. The art style in this game is cute, there is a decent amount to do between waiting for plants to grow (events, quests, match 3 puzzles), I really like the variety of bees & their names. The gameplay in this is more engaging than Hatch Dragons IMO, in Hatch Dragons it mostly alternates between harvesting & waiting. I seldom spend money on apps, but I have with this. I really like Tala. It makes me so incredibly happy to see the variety of physical traits in the characters too. I’m a PCOS haver & audibly squealed with joy when I saw Professor Montgomery for the first time.
Also, you can turn on haptics in this! Buzz buzz
Suggestions:
- I’d love, love, love an item to make a vegetable plant permanent / non harvestable at any growth stage. I have artichoke & red cabbage as decorations (pretty purples!!) but I’d like the “!” to go away from my menu.
- It would be cute to have canvases like in Animal Jam that you could paint on & display in your hive, or gift to the NPC neighbors.
- Having a re-send button for repeated expeditions like the quarry or walnut tree would be convenient, so I can simultaneously collect goods & send a bee, rather than opening the menu several times for a very quick task.
One note to new players: The trailer has a great big sprawling garden, it will take you a while to get there. It takes significantly more time to open up space than a game like Dragonvale. That being said, there are plants to discover among the weeds, so you are rewarded as you go! If you’re strategic with how you spend your tools, you can make it feel more open in a decent amount of time.
Also, one bug - there’s a possibility this is actually an iPhone thing, because it’s also happened to me on other games, on other versions of iPhones - when I close the app & it sits in the background for a while, then I re-open it and it re-loads, often the audio doesn’t work. I have to restart the app entirely to get the audio back.
