No way to cancel if you buy on their website at the discounted price and they will not respond to your emails for cancellation requests.

Have been unable to cancel subscription, no response from customer support

The one positive I have is that the stories are pretty well written and draw you in quickly. But that’s it. The monthly subscription does not mean unlimited — in fact, you can’t finish 1 book on a monthly subscription. If you want to be able to easily read though, you have to buy coins and they are not cheap. Additionally, I have read through 6 books now and not one was complete. They all end with an incomplete story saying “more chapters coming soon” — with no indication as to when they’ll be coming nor how many more. There has to be better options out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg and actually can provide complete stories. I had high hopes but honestly, DO NOT waste your time!

They used to have an unlimited reading subscription, but that’s now gone. Now the app is just like all the other trading apps where they charge out of the wazzo. Buying a physical book is cheaper than reading a story on here using coins. DO NOT BUY!!

I signed up for the weekly subscription but found I wasn’t able to cancel it. The subscription is not in the App Store and when I looked at the FAQ the instructions to cancel do not match where to go in the app. I still can’t find where to go to cancel the subscription. I found an email and have sent at least 4 emails with no response. I even sent messages through the feedback button, once a day for a week with no response. I ended up having to call my CC company and block them so they couldn’t process the payment. The chapters are expensive, but that’s typical of apps like theses.

I got sucked into a story. Signed up for a weekly subscription. Reached the point where it was time to cancel and the instructions in the app for how to do so don’t work. 6 weeks and counting without being able to cancel. The feedback form results in a bot telling me to use the nonfunctional instructions to cancel. Emails to the customer service email listed in the user agreement go unanswered. ETA 10/13/2026: This review finally prompted a response where the instructions for how to cancel through PayPal were provided. However, the subscription is not going through Apple, and it is not going through PayPal so those instructions don’t enable cancellation. This app has some of its subscriptions running through Apple/Google, some running through PayPal, some through Stripe, some through Ayden, and possibly other payment processors too. Don’t subscribe unless you want to commit to the work of tracking down how to cancel a subscription running through an undisclosed process.
