Doll Repair - Makeup studio

It just repeats the same level over and over again and it’s getting really annoying

It needs more updates I feel like a good idea for an update is where after you like finish all the dolls you should be able to go in and talk with the dolls like an AI chat

Pros: This game was pretty addicting at first— well, after purchasing the ad free option. It’s nearly unplayable until you do because of the number of ads popping up after tasks. The dolls are pretty and the whole concept is exactly the right combination of creepy and cute. The music is also not annoying. I also appreciated the vip free trial option, because without vip access to all makeups, accessories, and tools, the game would be unbelievably boring. Cons: - Agonizingly slow gameplay: Between the slow moving animation and unnecessary repeated cutscenes to look at the doll you’ve been working on, gameplay moves so slowly it starts to get irritating. Transitions are also extremely slow. -Gore: Be warned, it doesn’t bother me but certain storylines clearly allude to/show violence against children. Not a great look. -Cost: As mentioned above, without access to the full vip suite of makeup and accessories, you have one option for dressing each doll and it’s the same outfit they were wearing before the repair, albeit a spruced up version. After a short trial, the vip suite costs 4.99/week or 29.99/year. -Glitchy - Repetitive busywork: If the draw of this game is the creative side of things for you as it was for me, you may quickly become exhausted by the slow moving and repetitive prep required before adding makeup or accessories to each doll. Combined with repetitive designs this quickly makes the draw of the game wane, especially considering the price. I began feeling like I was trudging through each level doing the same tasks over and over again and waiting for the same animations to conclude, all to get to the much shorter “makeover” portion of the level. -No option to go back and choose other makeup or accessories after seeing the next round of options, and if you want to re-do a doll after completing it you must re-do all of the boring work beforehand. Even zooming through it, it’s probably about 5 minutes of the busywork and two minutes of the creative/fun gameplay if you ask me. Maybe longer, though I did not time it. I’m from the generation of kids who were able to play plugin makeover games online for free and have yet to find something similar in an app. This game almost nailed it conceptually, but in the end I won’t be renewing my subscription.
