This is a well designed app that does exactly what it needs to do without any fuss or bother by the user. It is simple, elegant, and your eye’s best friend. I love the non-subscription model. Also, this is one of the few apps of this genre that work perfectly on non-M series (Apple Silicon) Macs. My 2018 Mac Mini is happy. My eyes are happy. It’s all good!

Nice affordable alternative to LookAway (which is 5x the price). As I’m getting older, I really find I need to be more careful with preserving my eyesight; this helps a lot. The app is fairly straightforward; it doesn’t monitor if you’re watching video or in a meeting like look away does, but I don’t really care about that feature too much. I personally just use the screen dimming as a reminder and skip the sound notification.

I really love this product. Thank you so much for building it. I specifically love the screen dimming UI. One request: would you be able to add an option into the settings to allow the user to set the % the screen should dim? I like the screen dimming a lot but would like to be able to adjust how much it drops based on where I am (if I’m inside, lots of dimming is OK because I can still make out what’s on my screen if it triggers during something important, but if I’m outside and it dims I can’t see my screen at all). Obviously I usually will look away when it dims, but there are exceptions. This would be a really nice feature, thank you for considering!
