Difficult, Time-consuming, Complicated

I am 66 and tech-savvy. I found this Authenticator app particularly difficult to navigate. I completed this complicated process 6 months ago, but apparently all my previous calls, texts and verifications have either changed or expired, necessitating the entire process be completed again. As I type, I am waiting for an agent to join my chat to verify my identify via video call, going on 20 minutes. I live in the country of Panama and cannot receive texts via my U.S. phone number because it is an app. I don’t know how older, tech-challenged people ever manage the SSA website having to use this cumbersome Authenticator app.
