Verdict: I’ve been using this application for quite some time, and paid for the “pro” service where I can adjust the watermark when needed. In the areas I work, the signal is more often than not at least somewhat bad, sometimes I have zero data whatsoever. During the 10 to 15% of the time when I work in the signal is good, the application is nearly flawless. I pay for the service to save me a lot of time later in case there is an issue with a watermark, since we all make mistakes, and this application likes to change watermarks despite me saving them. The Bad: when the signal is bad, this application has a lot of bugs, and is often completely unusable. The “timestamp” app is my backup for times like this but watermark features are limited. When making custom watermarks and labels, I write what I need to have labeled and I watch in realtime as the application changes back to the prior label that I had even though I hit “save.” I have a current generation phone and all of the updates are up-to-date. Sometimes, I take a picture and normally it would save to my phone immediately, but the picture instant instantly deletes and isn’t recoverable so I have to pay attention to make sure that the photo is actually saved. It doesn’t get recovered when I have signal, I just have to hope that everything works properly and check it after I take the picture. There are multiple subscriptions you can pay, and an annual subscriptions. You can edit your watermarks with the “pro” feature. And there’s another subscription that shows your workspace, it just kind of silly that you have to pay for two separate subscriptions for one basic application hey, it stopped my app so whatever. The watermark feature does what I need to. But if signal is often bad, you’re forced to pay for the subscription to correct watermark and add addresses unless you want to spend a lot of extra time messing with the watermarks while you’re on site, and like I said, if your data is bad than the app is nearly unusable. And if the picture gets deleted entirely, then you’re pretty much screwed and you have to go back to the work site hoping that you don’t have to drive hours away to show proof of work. I have trust issues with this application, I have to double and triple check that my pictures aren’t changed and deleted, but this happens every day and it is very frustrating. Hopefully they get this issue sorted out because if I find a good replacement for the features that this application has, I will make the switch.
