★★★★★ Has to come back on here and change my review… Because they reel you in and then start charging you, “Say you max your free stuff!” Back to myFitnessPal!
★★★★★ Wish there was a way to link more fitness apps to this and wish there was more scanning ability for food without having to pay a high price.
★★★★★ A few things. Having to create an account to use the app is a little annoying, should just sync with iCloud no account should be needed. Would benefit from ability to native iPad app/Mac App Could use a fasting…

★★★★★ I've made a few of my own foods and put the food in manually and it usually allows me to update whenever I want, but it's not letting me manually put in my drink like where the blue check is when you're done it doesn't…
★★★★★ Most recent update is forcing me to log back in to my Apple Account (with password!) every time I re-open the FitBee app… will happily adjust my review back to a 5 once this is resolved, though!
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • The amount of calorie information on common foods is limited at the time of writing, but it compensates by letting the user add the nutritional content for themselves as well as share it with everyone else if they want! 5★, Sep 15, 2026
  • Tip: You can add the barcode scanner to your iPhone's Control Center for quick access. 5★, Sep 3, 2026
  • Super good, you don't have to pay for anything really the basic version has everything you need and it syncs to the Apple Watch so it keeps track of everything I need. 5★, Aug 14, 2026
  • The one time I emailed the app team with feedback/a feature request, they responded so quickly, and in such a grateful friendly manner, and said that they liked the idea and it would go on the list of future updates. 5★, Jul 6, 2026
  • This app has really helped me, I wish it were completely free however I love it so much 4★, Jun 11, 2026
  • Edited: one problem with FitBee is that even after I mark a day completed, I seem to be able to go back and add more things. 3★, May 23, 2026
  • Wish there were more options for workout options for walking like nature walking and homemade meals, but overall great app to start your journey with tracking your meals. 4★, May 17, 2026
  • Wish there was a way to link more fitness apps to this and wish there was more scanning ability for food without having to pay a high price. 2★, May 14, 2026

★★★★★ FitBee is the most intuitive, feature-packed food/diet tracker I've ever seen, and the developer adds new, useful features and enhancements almost every week.

Best Calorie App IMO

I have used countless of calorie / macro counting apps and they just never stuck with me. Many were too gimmicky, weirdly organized, had no free options (or pressured me into paying), and were too confusing. This one I feel has actually stuck though. The design is simplistic and to the point. The app works seamlessly and tracks progress in all areas. It even has micronutrients available which is nice to track (many other apps simply don’t show)!! I don’t even write reviews but I really do love this app and basically found it on a whim. In the future I also do hope to buy premium!! Thank you for the app. :)

Hands down the best

I have literally never seen a dev team that is this invested in a mobile app. Every week I’m seeing something new, and not some slop update, either; the things they’re pushing are genuinely useful and improve the app experience and quality tenfold, each time. They can’t miss. This app should be on everyone’s phone, no matter your goals. Gain weight, lose weight, maintain weight, this app is for you.

★★★★★Oct 19, 2026
Consistent Product

I have used FitBee several times while training and watching calories. The interface is consistent and easy to use. The list of foods to choose is populated for almost everything I eat.

Best Calorie Tracking App I’ve Found

The biggest barrier to getting healthy has been a reliable calorie tracking app. This app has literally everything I need, for free, and no ads to boot. The macros are clearly visible. I can customize my goals to change depending on the day of the week if I want. One of the best features is the AI estimator: you describe your food (portion size, menu item, what restaurant it’s from) and it’ll synthesize available data to produce a best guess. That alone has kept me from falling off the tracking boat when I find myself having takeout or dining out with family and friends. I love this app and I’m excited to see how it continues to grow.

Great app

Just started using this app and love how simple it is to use it. The camera scan feature works great.please fix the progress pic camera. When it takes a picture it auto adjusts to the middle square and now at to adjust. Also some of the settings like the goal mode was hard to find.

What's new in 3.18.4

New: Optimized and ready for the iPhone Duo. New: Daily Summary now breaks your day down by meal, showing where your calories came from and, with Premium, each meal's protein, carbs, and fat or any nutrient you track. New: The weight chart has a new look. Swipe back through your full history, tap a point to see that day's weight or a week's or month's average with its low and high, and follow your progress in a new goal card. Weight history now lists every entry, grouped by year. New: Your logging streak on Goals is now a calendar grid of recent weeks. Tap it to see your current and longest streaks and every month you've logged, year by year. Fixed: Workouts you log manually now show their calories on Home when Apple Health workout import is off. Fixed: A rare crash when editing a food's amount. Fixed: Swiping a food entry left and then back right without letting go showed Delete instead of Share. Fixed: The first photo in Describe Meal now keeps its rounded corners. Fixed: Updating all timestamps in a meal no longer lags when typing a time. Changes are saved when you tap Save. Improved: Home responds faster when you expand or collapse meals. Improved: "Log from yesterday" on meal cards sits a little further from the Add button and only responds to taps on its text, so it's harder to copy yesterday's meal by accident. Improved: A new calendar button on Home opens the date picker and shows when a day is marked complete. Improved: On iPad, FitBee uses the new sidebar tab layout, and each tab keeps its own place as you switch between them.

Released Nov 18, 2023. Current version shipped Oct 19, 2026.
