HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (14 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS

Only 4 of the latest 16 reviews are 1 or 2 stars, too few to find patterns. Users are mostly happy.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Can display pictures on my lock screen, which is really all I wanted, although I wish there were more options for Shortcuts in order to automate the process of it being on & off, rather than just being able to turn it… 4★, Oct 30, 2022
  • It would be nice though for someone who likes to not have open apps in the background if it would quit Shelf and Shortcuts after requested shortcut launches to keep open background apps to a minimum. 5★, Oct 27, 2022

Super App

Die App ist wirklich sehr gut. Man muss sich nichts für das Dynamic Island Design irgendetwas kaufen oder ein Abo abschließen 🙏🥳🥳

Bugged

Won't let me use it to open apps or run shortcuts. If I try to create a shelf to do those things as soon as I try to pick one it closes out before I can pick one.

Shelf

Love this app I just wish I had the option to not show it on lock screen

★★★★★Aug 6, 2025
Open app not functioning

The open app shelf did not work as it was supposed to

★★★★★May 25, 2025
The app doesn’t work for me

Whenever I try to make a shelf other than a text shelf it kicks me out of editing it and the colors are stuck as purple unless you pay for the pro version, if you hold the Dynamic Island it looks broken only some dot short cuts icons show up

Store description

Shelf lets you pin content to the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and Home Screen! Create shelves that display a photo, text, or quick links to open apps, shortcuts, or websites. Each are visually customisable; apply themes or manually change colours and fonts. Thanks to the iPhone 14 Pro’s always-on-display, shelves can be viewed at a glance - with actions a simple tap away. Automatically launch shelves with App Shortcuts support, such as when a Focus is turned on, or ask Siri "Create a Text Shelf" to quickly pin a spoken comment to your Lock Screen. More types of shelves will be coming soon, such as; a Timer, Checklist, and Weather.
