HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (1.1 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

★★★★★ I paid 4.99 for something I can just as easily do on YouTube, total waste of money.
★★★★★ The whole reason I bought this app is to speed up songs via Apple Music for my fitness classes… now that it's no longer compatible with Apple Music, this app is pointless.
★★★★★ 'Cannot be played in Highnote - songs with DRM such as those from apple music are locked and cannot be played” ethics and decency would have mandated a cautionary warning in the description. enjoy my $3, and eat a…

★★★★★ I use this app to teach ballet classes and i love it, But now that I updated my iphone it is glitchy and very annoying to the point i cant use it without wasting time.
★★★★★ Loop button doesn't work, and I can't change songs with the skip button on my phone lock screen or EarPods.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Please add a shuffle feature. 3★, May 28, 2026
  • [2026.01.31] fully blind user 8+ years using this now for a few months and love it, only tiny complaint is no song lookup by artist, and it's understandable but I wish there was one like in Apple Music, instead of search 5★, Jan 31, 2026
  • I do wish it had the ability to transpose as well, but otherwise it works flawlessly and I've used it to teach music, practice my own music, and more! 5★, Sep 25, 2025
  • I don't like to just be negative so I'll say that this app has potential but it needs work, the audio compression needs to be better at lower tempos and I think it would be nice to have other effects like maybe down… 2★, Apr 14, 2024
  • It should have sliders for speed and pitch. 1★, Jul 26, 2023
  • Happy I found this app but would love to see the BPM of the songs too. 4★, Jun 13, 2023
  • Please add back the repeat whole song option. 3★, May 30, 2023

★★★★★ This is a highly functional, useful app for slowing down audio for music practice.
★★★★★ I can't express how useful all that makes the app in practical terms.
Looks great7%

★★★★★ Beautiful, simple, elegant, gets out of your way.
★★★★★ It would be great to have 10s back and forward buttons in the playback interface.
★★★★★ The UI could use a LITTLE bit of work though—it's a bit difficult to create and edit loop phrases, and I really wish there was a 15/30 second back button.

Need two new features

Very helpful and intuitive app. Two features will make this much more useful. (1) display the current bpm. (2) ability to export to mp3 if music is already an imported mp3 file or the drm tags allow it. Thanks for considering. This is worth additional payment imho 😊

A little limited

I use this for running, I like matching my song tempo to my running cadence. I like that you can make playlists, but it drives me crazy that I can’t shuffle them. Please add a shuffle feature. Also, it’d be nice to just pick a BPM for all my songs rather than try and math the percentage increase or decrease for a specific BPM.

Good but I was looking for more

I like the app but it doesn’t suit my needs. I can understand and overlook the slight change in sound when the tempo is adjusted. I can work with that. What I thought it could do was sync the whole playlist to the same tempo. I wanted to use it for a fitness class. But I will just go back to the way I was doing it and live with the slight changes in tempo for each song. If you ever add that feature, I would use it all the time.

Works Great

Overall these reviews are harsh and don’t seem fair so I wanted to counterbalance. Perfect Tempo has always worked great for me and does just what it says it will do. I do wish it had the ability to transpose as well, but otherwise it works flawlessly and I’ve used it to teach music, practice my own music, and more! Big fan!
