The vegetables section is mostly useless. The only vegetable they rate for cooked is spaghetti squash. They only rate raw: potatoes (what??), Okra, broccoli, spinach, all only raw. This is ridiculous.

★★★★★ I wish they'd offer a free trial first so I could see that this is not a terribly user friendly app.
★★★★★ Charged me without my consent.
★★★★★ A trial period before buying would have been useful.

★★★★★ The vegetables section is mostly useless.
★★★★★ It's better to just get a diary booklet and fill it out yourself. This does not help me one bit.
★★★★★ I wasted $8 on a useless app when I have to Google the fodmap content of any foods i actually plan to eat.

★★★★★ If it later becomes useful to me I'll update my rating.
★★★★★ Today I open the app and after the update they erased the years of my diary that I have been relating on.
★★★★★ The calendar no longer responds to touch screen swipes, and it updates slow with lag when you do switch dates using the top right arrow keys. In a lot of ways, the old calendar interface was way better & it was…

★★★★★ Missing USA titled foods or products.
★★★★★ Missing pretty basic foods.
★★★★★ With some of the food items, you can't change the serving size to see how the amounts of the different fodmaps change.

★★★★★ Did not even put my credit card info in but it still charged me $8.49.
★★★★★ The food guide seems very limited and it's not easy to search for whether something is low-FODMAP.
★★★★★ the foods are only categorized by sorbitol/fructose/etc which can be hard to figure out which foods are what, and only has a few limited foods available for logging.

★★★★★ This app does not work for the reintroduction phase of the process.
★★★★★ Latest update crashes when trying to save diary entries
★★★★★ I have tried to submit feedback but that button doesn't work.

★★★★★ So this app could so easily be fixed I want to scream. It's like whoever made it never went grocery shopping. You know what would be fantastic? Make a section in filtering for the app of what you CANNOT eat when you've…
★★★★★ How do I recover the years of data that appear to be lost (from the diary portion of the app) after updating the app?
★★★★★ Not only are my previous reintroductions gone, but the text is cut off in the reintroductions window so you can only guess what food you are supposed to be reintroducing.

★★★★★ Recipe freezes cannot see theme at all!
★★★★★ The app always freezes if I try to go to recipes.

★★★★★ I got this app some year and a half ago and I use it *constantly*. Highly recommend if you are on the FODMAP diet!!!
★★★★★ I love your app for recording the daily details. However, sometimes I am using my iPhone and other times my iPad. I have the app on both devices, but they do not talk to each other, entering a meal on my ipad doesn't…

★★★★★ Best part is how easy it is to look up a food a decide whether to eat or not eat.
★★★★★ Great app supporting amazing research. Wish the diary was more integrated (or maybe I'm not using it to its capacity). Reports & linking food to symptoms would be great. App would be perfect if it had a scanner. I…
★★★★★ It's quick and easy to use, reliable and evidence-based, and developed by the university that leads the research on IBS and low FODMAP diets.

★★★★★ There's no dietitians in my area and I can look that up on their free website.
★★★★★ I really appreciate this app and feel it is super worth it for the diary function and cross examination of foods.
★★★★★ This is a great app but I would bet that a lot of us also have celiac disease or gluten intolerance and it would make this app so much easier to use for us
9 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ It could use a lot of work in terms of streamlining, helping us understand data, and being more accommodating/accurate.
★★★★★ Most accurate FODMAP out there and explains some symptoms I was having when following other apps.
★★★★★ The info is well researched and thoroughly accurate.

I received many referrals to this app as I was working through my journey of IBS-C. This app does not work for the reintroduction phase of the process. I needed to the ability to refer back to reactions, remarks and type of food I was reacting to. This app is not user friendly for this stage and I will be looking for something else to use
Not sure how I was misled to pay for this app thinking it would help me track what I ate, record how I felt, and assist with the elimination phase. There is nothing interactive here. It’s just a list of foods.
This could be so much more useful. The light system doesn’t say how much of the fodmap types are in how many grams of food, so it is difficult to determine how foods stack together in one meal. This would be so much better if you could build your own recipes to check the sum total fodmaps. Developers, please check out MacroFactor for an example of how nice this would be for users! The app FODMAPFriendly has a recipe building function, but their dataset often conflicts with yours. Still, that app makes it possible to see how fodmaps stack within a meal. This does seem necessary to me in order to follow the diet.
This app genuinely saved me so much pain and discomfort when I was struggling with intense stomach issues. I would buy this app a million times over. Thank you!
Disclaimer: My dietician recommended this, so she gave me a lot of the information YOU may need this app for. But with youtube, google, and AI today, paying $10 for this app is unnecessary. I also found it difficult to use the traffic light system when grocery shopping because my big Canadian city is different than the specific items they were listing if it wasn’t a simple apple for ex. I also didn’t like the reintroduction category. I want to be able to look up an item in a food group and put in the amount and some notes. Simply selecting one of a few ingredients from the food group - then having it show the traffic light on my calendar isn’t helpful, I want to know if it worked for me or not, what symptoms did I have. Even free period apps have where you can input symptoms per day. This app appears to me as something that is just bare bones or at a beginning stage, it could come a long way to be helpful or worth payment. I wish I didn’t buy this app.
