Excellent. Highly recommend

This app is very very good. Such a help and always spot on my app goes off a good minute before the ambulance or fire truck leave their station. Well done It helps so much we know where to avoid for car accidents etc. cant praise it highly enough. Although sometime I hear the sirens go off and don’t get the warning on this ap but I know there must be a genuine reason for it. Thanks All. 🚑🏥🚒🚓

Very annoyed

I have gotten over 50 of the same notifications for the same warning which was issued at 9:16am. I am writing this review at 10:40pm. WTF.

Non stop of same notification

I love this app, but just after lunch today a notification that came through just after 9:00am started coming through again about every five minutes. It is nearly 7:30pm and they are still coming through. Will have to turn the app off tonight to get some sleep.

Store description

The QLD Fires application is designed to provide information on current fires within the state of Queensland Australia. The information is displayed in a list or map view to enable the user to understand how far the fire is from a user. The application also maps current wind and satellite "hotspot" data to try and provide as much information as possible. It utilises fire information from the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, wind information from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and Satellite "Hot Spots" from Geoscience Australia.
