WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Too many ads54%

32 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Love the concept of this app but the amount of ads almost makes it unusable.
★★★★★ This app is a buffet of tacky ads that take take over whatever audio is playing in the background.
★★★★★ I get it, it takes money to run an app and rent a server, so I'm fine with a band of advertisement on the bottom of the page, but a freaking pop screen 30s after I open the app?
Price and subscription27%

16 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I get having ads on a free app, developers wanna make money, but it's aggressive here.
★★★★★ I get it, it takes money to run an app and rent a server, so I'm fine with a band of advertisement on the bottom of the page, but a freaking pop screen 30s after I open the app?
★★★★★ I really wanted to like this since I love the idea but it's a poor lazy execution for the money I spent.
Lost data, sync, backup12%

7 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Just re downloaded and remembered why I deleted it last time: when you try to swipe through past days' art, you get so many unskippable ads and can't get out of them.
★★★★★ I continue to click the option to “restore purchases“ but nothing seems to be working and it keeps acting like I don't have a subscription when I certainly do.
★★★★★ Now, after this recent update that they have done, all my loved artwork has been erased, my “restore purchases” doesn't do anything so they've taken my 5$ and blocked me from the full content with a monthly paid service.
Bugs, things not working7%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It all started with the pushy “allow notifications” screen when you first open the app, then divulged into buggy ad viewer hell unless you have a paid subscription.
★★★★★ Great app but notifications haven't worked in months and the developer claims it's “my iPhone” when of course it isn't since I get all other notifications from all other apps. Fix it. 😑
★★★★★ You need to fix this app, ASAP.
Limits, credits, locked features5%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ How disappointing. There's so much to see if you pay for premium. No clue so much would paywalled. Not great for students on a budget that's for sure,
★★★★★ Shouldn't have to pay to enjoy an app.
★★★★★ I downloaded the app to look at abstract art and some other genres, BUT I have to pay to see abstract art or pretty much anything unique
Wrong or poor results5%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ You also can't really zoom into the art and it's usually low quality photos.
★★★★★ Not sure, they could be in skin colored material and a fake out image, but I wanted to learn about art and see oil paintings not something that's clickbait for an adult website.
★★★★★ Not a biased tool, misandrist woke and low quality because those go together in infested minds, I dont want to see beheadings but if you want to show act of gendered violence at least show both sides instead of…
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • The ability to swipe through favorites would be awesome. 4★, Sep 26, 2026
  • Just need to add a read aloud or speak sélection to be perfect 4★, Aug 19, 2026
  • But it needs a more appealing icon ;) 5★, Jul 21, 2026
  • I'm giving four stars only because I wish to see more modern/postmodern art included in here. 4★, Jul 6, 2026
  • Any time during the day, when I need a quiet moment, I can open DailyArt and get not only quiet and beauty but also history and culture. 5★, May 14, 2026
  • Please make it so we can adjust the widget and see the actual colorful picture of the art daily. 5★, Apr 21, 2026
  • I have a specific color tone for my apps on my iPhone, so it would be cool to have a similar option for the daily art. 2★, Feb 16, 2026
  • I wish there was an option to submit suggestions for artists to add to the app. 4★, Feb 4, 2026

★★★★★ I love love lovee this app and they select great art but I feel like there are too many features that you have to pay for like I couldn't even look at the Greek section of art without paying and 30$ a year I guess is a…

Great History!

Honestly? Gave me some fun facts I needed. Absoluetly adored this!

Free version very limited

I like seeing a new painting every day and reading about it, but the free version doesn’t give you more than that. When you save your favorites and go back to look at them, you can only see the first 2-3, the rest are blurred out below those first few. Ditto for saving paintings to different categories. What’s the point if you can only see 2-3?

Art app at its best

What a wonderful app!! A little dose of art and education every day. And great way to become more familiar with an artist you’d like to explore!

★★★★★Oct 21, 2026
Daily Inspo

I love the art featured daily. I don’t go to museums as often as I would like, so getting art on my phone daily is inspirational.

★★★★★Oct 21, 2026
Amazing app to detox from ig

I love this app so much, it helps me to detox from toxic social media a lot

★★★★★Oct 19, 2026
My source of everyday art inspiration

I like everyday notifications with art. Selection is interesting and diverse, I picked a lot of new artists from it. Descriptions are not AI generated and pleasure to read. Thanks
