★★★★★ You are forced to pay for a subscription immediately before you can even properly test or play other games to evaluate the product.
★★★★★ Once you've signed up you can never cancel the subscription!
★★★★★ Charging exorbitant subscription rates for it is evil.

★★★★★ I have an iphone and one of the exercises (Divided Attention)does not recognize when I correctly tap the screen. I have brought this to their attention and they acknowledged the problem but have not fixed it. Another…
★★★★★ But worst was a game where we listened to a list of items to identify but the recording was broken up which made it difficult to follow.
★★★★★ I like this app, but sometimes fail due to issues with colour blindness.

★★★★★ Trying to sign up and keep getting a message that I must connect to the internet.
★★★★★ I twisted myself into such a pretzel to try to make an account for this app.
★★★★★ Every time I attempt to log in on a device other than my phone it says I already have an account, but I cannot access the content.

★★★★★ Worse yet, when you run into issues, there is no clearly visible or accessible customer support system to communicate with.
★★★★★ Update: I cancelled. I tried playing Hawk Eye on my iPad, the game where you spot the odd bird, and it's literally impossible for me. I can barely see the birds, never mind the odd one out. They all blend into the…

★★★★★ I've lost an entire training where it was just about to end and give me credit but a slight brush of my fingers in the bottom left and poof 💨 all was gone.
★★★★★ The user experience feels locked behind a paywall without any safety net for troubleshooting.
★★★★★ You have to purchase through their website so they don't have to pay Apple the $30.00 app fee.

★★★★★ I've lost an entire training where it was just about to end and give me credit but a slight brush of my fingers in the bottom left and poof 💨 all was gone.
★★★★★ I have little experience with video games and find myself completely puzzled at times, lost in terms of how to proceed.
★★★★★ I used the free app daily for a few weeks and just deleted it.

★★★★★ There's one (I can't remember the name) where there's an image with blurry lines that either converge or diverge.
★★★★★ Downloaded this because of news about benefits. I can only hold my iPad in its vertical orientation. For some reason this app only appears in landscape orientation and won't rotate. Not very brainy.
★★★★★ The lack of information and feedback on your performance makes it somewhat useless.

★★★★★ UPDATE: the ambiguity in the to-do list exercise instructions is fixed, but the voice quality is still comically bad.
★★★★★ maybe that's a “if it ain't broke don't fix it.” mentality, but honestly it just looks like like brainHQ is broke (monetarily), since it doesn't look like it has been updated since the conception of this company/app.
★★★★★ I tried help, and they told me to not use the app, instead just the website...and that doesn't work, either!

★★★★★ A lot of these exercises are really fun and I do the fun ones first, and the more challenging ones later.
★★★★★ I wish they gave a win, or it would be more fun or something.
★★★★★ I am enjoying exercising my brain

★★★★★ It seems this is going to be very helpful.
★★★★★ Some of them very challenging
★★★★★ This helps me pay better attention to what's going on.
19 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ I'm only using the daily free version.
★★★★★ If I don't answer quickly enough, the app believes I've already used the free trial that day, so will not load.
★★★★★ I appreciate that there's a free version of this, but I find it really irritating that the stars at the end flash by so quickly that you can't even read them!
10 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ The exercises are not easy at all but i love the challenge.
★★★★★ I've had BrainHQ for over a year now and while I love the easy access to scientifically backed ways to keep my brain sharp, I wish the user experience was a little better.
★★★★★ Fun not easy isn't that the point.
7 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ To top of their high quality product, their customer service is top class.
★★★★★ And, after initial frustrations with customer service, I have since found them to be extraordinarily helpful.
★★★★★ As for the charge, the more people that actual do support it, the more chances rather can improve the matters, just my thoughts.

This has happened to me multiple times now. The button to exit training is too easy to push and doesn’t ask if I really want to exit the app. I’ve lost an entire training where it was just about to end and give me credit but a slight brush of my fingers in the bottom left and poof 💨 all was gone. 😭
Everything is based on speed. Not your ability to reason through complex problems. If you’re ND, this just makes you feel stupid, even tho you score 98 on nation wide tests. Speed doesn’t help NDs, it only frustrates them.
I don’t play these games enough, but every time I do several different exercises a few days in a row, I can actually tell that my memory, focus, and brain speed feel sharper. One reviewer said it’s frustrating, and yes any game you play can be, but even if I don’t get them all right and get frustrated, if I just stick with them and repeat the exercises, I find I get better, little by little. A lot of these exercises are really fun and I do the fun ones first, and the more challenging ones later. I know it’s working my brain and making new connections up in that mess of synapses. I’m 71 with ADD, in great physical shape, but as I age, I want my brain to be sharp and focused too. That’s so important. You gotta stick with it, don’t get upset about it, make it into a fun game that’s helping your brain in so many ways … it’ll pay off in the long run.
The games are worthwhile except for Fine Tuning where GA and DA sound exactly alike on my speakers and even when I wear earbuds. Very rarely do I hear a clear DA. I usually earn only one star at a time making this exercise excruciating. Do others actually hear a difference?
Nice app with solid content and harder levels as you improve. You have to pay more money to access your own data and how exactly you are improving. All the app gives you are silly stars and meaningless pictures when you pass a game or level. Who know where they sell your results.
Same category, earning about as much.
