★★★★★ I've been using this app for years but now it won't let me get rid of ads when I open the app.
★★★★★ This could be a wonderful APP ad not for all the moving ads and constant bombardment of visual noise.
★★★★★ Why do I have to be exposed to ads and require to watch a video in order to avoid ads when I've already spent $10 per year?

★★★★★ Doesn't work half the time
★★★★★ Allows you to remove ads for 48 hours, supposedly. But eventually it stops allowing this. Now it says “keep your network in good condition to remove ads” instead of allowing you to watch a video in order to do it.…

★★★★★ There's no way to even pay to stop the ads.
★★★★★ All the adds and no way to pay for a non add version.
★★★★★ The only thing that is missing from the other app I found is the ability to have more timers saved, but it's not very hard to just change the timer.

★★★★★ They have an “ad” on this app that makes it look like your home screen is locked with a link to pay to get it fixed.

★★★★★ Only recently I received notice that even though I have purchased the app, I will now have to pay a subscription fee!

so many ads

it does what it says and works reasonably well, a bit laggy and rife with ads. these provide another avenue for mindfulness (meeting them with equanimity ☺️)

There is no other timing app like Pocket Meditation Timer.

Very Good Meditation Timer! - VoiceOver compatible

Shocked at how well this timer works with voiceover for modifying the times and sounds. The “back” button is the flaw I found as it only announces “button.” The sounds are decent and the interval timer is very nice. They have done a good job keeping it simple. The sounds play even when the device is playing other music. I do wish it had a halfpoint timer as well.

Get this if you want to start meditating

For years I was ambivalent about meditation. Yeah, I knew I wanted to do it, I knew I needed it, and, after a few Soto Zen retreats, I knew definitely how to do it. But I started my daily practice only when I got this app. Adjustable bells, gongs, time periods - probably other apps have all that functionality too, but intuitively, something about this one just works best for me. Daily friend now for seven years.
