★★★★★ Like every other app they try to press more money out of you.
★★★★★ I would buy it a single time but having yearly subscription for offline maps is very disappointing.
★★★★★ Now (2025) it's full of advertisements, subscriptions and annoying features, you can only download a few km2.
Limits, credits, locked features4%

14 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Just use OS maps in the Uk and commonwealth or Alpenvereinaktiv, there you have to pay like 25€ but you get the official topographic maps
No customer support2%

★★★★★ The new management of this company has gone insane and tries to squeeze profits out of you aggressively.
★★★★★ I also discovered, when being lost in a dense forest in Liguria, that maps.me had all tiny tracks and all climbing cliffs I was looking for on the map.
Slow, laggy, battery1%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Everything lags (iPhone 12) and if you start a navigation, switch shortly the app and go back, the app restarts and you have to type in all navigation details.
★★★★★ Unfortunately, the search function is slow and unprecise for quite a while now, and the pricing that was introduced in '23 does not reflect its (often lacking) functionality at all.
★★★★★ It's slow, buggy, crashes or the app reloads in the middle of a hike and every day.

Just the best!

The best offline map on the planet. I use it for past 13 years. It saved my life multiple times. Love to use it.

Gute Offline App
