★★★★★ Dan is moving this to a subscription model, and the app you pay/paid for will eventually not work unless you cough up a subscription.

★★★★★ You have to pay for other features, most importantly cloud backups.
★★★★★ Yes, there are knobs that are very customizable, but the knobs have a min and max limit.
Nothing stands out.

★★★★★ I find the larger size (I have a 27” monitor) extremely useful for designing layouts using a mouse rather than an Apple Pencil or my fingers on an iPad.

Latest reviews, Japan App Store.
Reiterating all my previous reviews spanning well over a decade: The only app I CANNOT be without. Dan, the developer, is a class-act without question. If I had a million bucks to spare I’d certainly endow it to this masterful endeavor of his and the strong community who support this. The greatest thing since sliced bread…well, along with synthesizers. Love, a loyalist
Ridiculously overpriced. Not useful without paying. Subscriptions in general are bs. Lifetime is $150…
Works well on my Mac mini M1 with macOS 15.x. Perfect for all kinds of MIDI work. Mostly use it for pedal controls and presets. Customer service is responsive and helpful. Thanks
My home studio is guitar focused and I need to be able to control multiple modelers, pedals, and DAW functionality without a lot of tap-dancing and context switching. MD allows me to configure the controls I need all in one place and control it from one iPad. MD so far is looking like a game-changer for me.

I currently give this app no stars. It crashes within 20 seconds of opening it. I tried restarting my iPad. I deleted and reinstalled the app. I had high hopes, as this app was recommended for a few pieces of hardware I use that could benefit from the interface this would provide if it didn’t crash. I did just update the os, so perhaps it will work soon.
