PP has improved so much over the years. I love their beautiful designs. The interface is still a little clunky. The biggest issue is that if you get call or a message mid design, your work doesn’t save. It should auto draft EVERYTHING you create.
I’ve hosted plenty of parties and used digital invitations many times. Paperless Post has been the worst experience I’ve had with an invitation platform. I paid for the service because I wanted a beautiful digital presentation to deliver original invitations with the traditional envelope experience. The design delivery was lovely. Everything after that has been unnecessarily frustrating. Finding invitation links, resending invitations, and helping guests locate their original invitations should be SIMPLE. Instead, the interface turns basic event management into an exercise in patience. I’m comfortable navigating complicated digital systems. This isn’t a matter of learning how to use technology. It’s poor user-interface design. For a paid platform, that’s unacceptable. My advice? Don’t confuse beautiful presentation with a well-designed service. Paperless Post may deliver the former, but in my experience, it falls remarkably short on the latter. Next time, I’ll make time to send the paper invitations.
Recently I received 2 fake emails that look like they are from your service. Luckily they looked suspicious so I didn’t open and sent a text to the people they were supposed to be from. They confirmed they were fake. Just a warning to people to be vigilant. Both the “senders” were people I know.
to open the invite in web it redirected to google account login, then said i couldnt so i downloaded the app the app couldnt find the invite opening the link from the email doesnt redirect to the app? overly complicated for no reason tbh, i still dont know what the invite is for because i cant see it
Completely unnecessary more work than required. Paid for a “free” service when it could have been a simple text. Should have been free. Will never use this service again. Does not include full list of recipients. Names did not show when sent to recipients. Impossible to tell when families were invited.
I like most of the features, I like that there’s a truly free option, I wish I could reorder the RSVP questions instead of having to delete and rewrite them. Kind of tricky to tell which fonts/options are free and which are paid.
