Metronome touch

What a lovely simple tool, and I mean simple as in it is intuitive for the user and no distractions. I purchased this to help my wife with her guitar practice. She bought herself an antique wooden metronome that looks perfect but doesn’t swing evenly anymore. This app gives her back the feel of looking at a pretty Metronome, with the bonus of actually doing the job of keeping the beat evenly. :) I also like the selection of sounds available for the beats. If you are ever thinking of any future features, a slider to alter to pitch of the existing sounds would be great. I could make the Knock sound file you have sound a bit more like the larger wood metronome my wife originally had. Thank you for this app!

This app is my favorite metronome app. I don’t use it for music, but for mindfulness, regulating my emotions and bringing my focus back to the present. I’m an autistic person with ADHD and this app has been excellent for me for this purpose. Disclaimer: what follows is a description of an issue that I had that was my own lack of understanding of the app’s functions, not any issue with the app itself. I was having an issue with it where I thought it wouldn’t allow you to completely remove the different beat sound (don’t know what that’s called) at the end of whatever timeframe you set. The number of beats is set at 12, so I got this to do 11 ticks and on the 12th beat it would do this tink sound that pulled me out of my focus and mindfulness. I’m sure this is necessary for musicians but it was jarring to me for my purposes. I emailed the developer and they got back to me extremely quickly and told me how to remove that sound so it would only play the sound I wanted. I also learned that this app does a lot more than I thought it did. Which, again, I’m sure makes it a great app for musicians. The person was kind and patient and explained how to fix my issue in a way that was easily understandable, which was my issue and had nothing to do with the quality or function of the app itself. I was very pleased with the timely response to my complaint and the graciousness with how the person handled it. I was very impressed with my experience with the app as well as my experience communicating with the developer. Thank you for a great app and great customer service!

I wanted a pendulum swinging back and forth, and this does a good job. Clean and crisp design although I’d like the background to offer shades of grey, not just black and white. The pure white can be glaring and hard on the eyes. I also wish softer edged sounds were included, such as a snare drum for example. My guitar practice group, and I, find hard edged sounds, even the drums, are too brittle and get on our nerves very quickly. Having said that, this is still the best I’ve found.

Very nice metronome! I loved the range of speed that goes to 999bpm! Though could you please add a tuner to make it more worth it? And maybe more features like being able to edit the tempo when in Lock Screen? Thank you so much!

But the UI should be updated. The menu page doesn’t have a dark mode like the main page which is killing me, but this is the best metronome app I’ve tried. Plz fix this UI !
