Texas Hold'em Poker: Pokerist

Too many things being changed and messed with. I played 2 accounts and the rules were not the same for both accounts. The Season Pass quests state to enter a tournament. So I played one of the Party Games listed under tournaments. On one account they said the Party Games did not qualify as a tournament. The other account allowed it. Now they have this ridiculous 20 ‘Free Bets’ in ultimate hold’em of 2k. Problem is they put you into a top tier level to use those bets. You lose too much money to make those stupid 2k bets worth the cost. SUX!!!!

I had been playing this for the past 8 months. Certain table games, if you hit the wrong “Play” by accident there’s no way of backing out. The first time I did it about 7 months they saw what happened and refunded my chips. Jump ahead to today….Hit Play in Spades, realized I was in a game at maximum dollar bet, hit “Cancel” numerous times and put me in the game anyway. I went from 523M in chips (paid 19.99 to 9.99 for some) and nope they said “too bad” be careful next time. I deleted the game right away…I went from 523M down to 3K!!!! And you’re out of luck, I swear they do it on purpose! BUYER OF CHIPS BEWARE!!

“Isn’t required to provide any proof or notice prior to”… Okay, sure, but what about after you erase 900 million dollars and permanent ban someone for going all in and winning at a table. Show me what I did after at the very least. Seems like an attack on my rights. What a joke and will be switching platforms.

My previous review disappeared after the developer responded to it. I am therefore posting my concerns again, this time with a more specific question about their claimed RNG audit. “Purchases aren’t mandatory” is irrelevant. Of course they aren’t mandatory. The business model still sells virtual chips after players lose them. The more interesting claim is the “independently certified RNG.” A one-time RNG certification is not the same thing as continuous independent monitoring of the live production environment. In fact, Pokerist’s own website states that the testing laboratory is not associated with KamaGames on an ongoing basis. So who independently verifies that the live system players are actually using today behaves exactly like the tested version, with no player-specific logic, weighting, matchmaking effects, or other intervention around the RNG? That is the question. Their response does not answer it. My experience remains the same: an extraordinary concentration of action-heavy hands, coolers and dramatic reversals that feels engineered to burn through virtual chips and drive repeat purchases. If Pokerist wants trust, publish the full current audit scope, tested software version, methodology, date, production-control procedures and evidence of continuous independent verification. Until then, “we have an RNG certificate” is marketing, not an answer. If you want poker, stay away. If you want to play inside an opaque algorithmic environment whose operator makes money selling you replacement chips, welcome to Pokerist.

Horrible company constantly bombarding you with adds and a purposely ambiguous process in which it seems like your purchasing chips and in fact you’re purchasing some ridiculous and confusing package that is very confusing and misleading. Even when I brought this to their attention and asked for a refund or just credit me chips I meant to purchase they claim I should have read their 100 page legal notice prior to spending $4.99 for virtual chips. Rather than just credit my account with zero cost virtual chips they stuck to a company policy and claim buyer beware for $4.99 and it’s my problem for my ignorance. I only write this because any rational human being understands no one would waste the time to read a legal notice they can’t possibly understand without an attorney. Large companies such as this can get away with cheating the little guy such as me and our only hope as individuals is to boycott horrible company policies designed to cheat people with confusion. All they have to do is be straight forward with chip purchases, stop gaslighting the public with we should of known or the false narrative their process is simple and their legal notices are simple when the entire world knows this is incorrect. Not everyone is a young person and tech is language and posses a serious challenge for older individuals to come to learn. In addition if their company refuses to be reasonable and cant bring themselves to accommodate a reasonable and modest request it further shows they are using their companies power over the individual and its time these tech companies be held to account to the people! they have been deceiving the public for years and hurting our young people and cheating the elderly for far too long. DO NOT PURCHASE OR DOWNLOAD THIS APP! SEND A MESSAGE WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THEIR PREDATORY BEHAVIOR!
