HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (0.5 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Worse after an update23%

7 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app does not update the routes as they go out of service.
★★★★★ The latest update has made this app much worse than it was before.
★★★★★ As stated in other reviews, this app was perfect (save frequent destinations/addresses, easy to/from toggle, easy map lookup). Now those things are impossible or much more difficult! Please just bring the old app back!
Bugs, things not working16%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It won't let me put in a password; it won't let me put in a destination. It is worthless. I can't find out how to cancel.
★★★★★ On top of many things being moved over to premium, it is very buggy.
★★★★★ The app keeps returning "no routes found" error no matter which points are chosen, no matter which bus or rail line, for LA Metro.
Price and subscription10%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I can't find out how to cancel.
★★★★★ Please add setting to not display journey price, improve map display (it is jumping with expand/collapse).
★★★★★ This app sounds great, but after 30 days, San Francisco Database packs cost $9.99? I'd pay $9.99 if all the offline data was included.
Lost data, sync, backup10%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Using this app will get you lost or stranded in one the biggest cities in the world.
★★★★★ I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled (doesn't work).
★★★★★ So I deleted it as untrustworthy.
Wrong or poor results10%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ But useless once the data license expires.
★★★★★ Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Limits, credits, locked features6%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Ridiculous app- too limited.
★★★★★ Thought it would still be usable and would only have to pay for fresh data.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Please add setting to not display journey price, improve map display (it is jumping with expand/collapse). 1★, Dec 6, 2018
  • This would be great when situations may cause route delays. 5★, Jan 25, 2013
  • You still get to the right place if selecting one though so its not a huge issue, just would be nice to see all the extras removed. 4★, Mar 30, 2012
  • It would be better of there was an option to give the bookmarked routes our own custom title. 4★, Mar 23, 2012

WHAT THEY LOVE · SHARE OF GOOD REVIEWS
Accurate, great results22%

13 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Very accurate app for transport times.
★★★★★ I've been using this for over a year in Denver and it is easy to use and accurate.
★★★★★ Still, it's often more accurate than the signs above the trains at the stop.
Easy to use20%

12 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I've been using this for over a year in Denver and it is easy to use and accurate.
★★★★★ Well designed!! You've thought of everything. I love the map integration
★★★★★ Easy GPS and tracking information And always up to date!!
Useful, it helps14%

8 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Good one and very useful for bus schedule.

★★★★★ The most useful transit app for the Denver metro until google maps!!!
Looks great8%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Love what they did with the update - great new interface, several nice new features.
★★★★★ This app is wonderful for Denver. I appreciate the ability to look up what buses are leaving from a certain location.
★★★★★ Interface could be a little friendlier.
Worth the money8%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I have never written a review before, but this app is worth the effort. Money well spent. Highly recommended.
★★★★★ This is useful. I use it to commute all over the south Denver area. It is easy to change routes, adjust points of interest, etc. Great tool!

Always a great app, developed by two guys in Pardubice, Czechia, who are always responsive to suggestions. Also, the app just works

App Doesn’t Work

It won’t let me put in a password; it won’t let me put in a destination. It is worthless. I can’t find out how to cancel.

★★★★★Nov 22, 2022
It just works

I left a review 4 years ago saying this was then my most used app and all this time later it still is. Keen to try out the latest update to 5.0.

Why?

Ridiculous app- too limited. Don’t bother

★★★★★Jul 16, 2019
Warning

This app does not update the routes as they go out of service. Using this app will get you lost or stranded in one the biggest cities in the world. Plenty of other public transit apps to use in NY (5 other apps). Do not get hustled into paying for this app, there will be plenty of other praying on you as a tourist. You don’t need the extra risk or frustration. Avoid this app for your own safety. Wanted to take family to Bronx zoo on 7Ave express. To our surprise 7 stops on this route we’re out of service (including our stop). This app directed me specifically to this route. The stations were not closed unexpectedly, either. Scheduled maintenance. We got dumped off in the hood. (The real hood in the Bronx.) with my fiancé, 17 year old daughter and her friend. Very dangerous situation that could be avoided if you do not use this app.
