OsiriX HD

The software no longer functions at all! It worked great for 7 years, used by me and 3 ENT partners to be able to view Dicom CT’s on our IPads in the operating room for our sinus surgery cases. However, since about 3/1/2024, none of us can transfer images to our IPads, even though we all have separate active subscriptions through the Apple Store. The app says “no active subscription” , though all subscriptions are paid. Also, no support is available to fix the problem or cancel the subscription.

Beware of scammers.

It clearly says “not suitable for primary diagnosis”, yet they want 10€/month for a viewer that I, a patient, would use to look at my data. It’s a mobile app worth no more than 10-15€ in a total, one-off purchase. They’ve gone from being a decent developer to becoming a scammer and a damn fraud, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Useless if you don’t pay for the app

… and the app it’s just way too expensive for someone who just wants to browse some x-rays maybe once or twice and then not use it again. I tried to open some files that I got from my radiologist that worked on the version of this app that was on the CD on my Macintosh, but when I tried to open the same files on my iPhone, it was really restrictive Ffirst It wouldn’t even let me pull them over and then when I kind of find a tricky way to bring them over it wouldn’t let me open them up at all so there’s no way to view an image unless you pay.
