★★★★★ A reader of almost 63 years, I was glad to see the epaper BUT along with it kept the constant updating of apps leaving a lot of us with devices that could not keep up and update without purchasing new equipment.
★★★★★ App is pretty useless now since new update everything is pretty much behind a paywall
★★★★★ You'll notice the only positive reviews since the recent update are fake and planted by the AJC.
32 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Not likely to renew my subscription.
★★★★★ Sometimes I feel like my subscription ought to buy a little more than the 3-4 articles a day that seem to get posted some days, but I'll look past that.
★★★★★ I'm asking for my subscription fee to be refunded.
27 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ A good chunk of my rating here comes from a bug I reported over two months ago that has still not been fixed.
★★★★★ This review is for the app/subscription service, not for the quality of the journalism. I have an active paid subscription through Apple and am signed into the same account in both the AJC app and on the AJC website.…
★★★★★ 1: can't print crossword puzzle 2: when I leave the app for a moment, when I come back in it takes me back to the main page. It should stay at the article I was reading.
25 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Then, when I tap an AJC article link and choose “Open in AJC News” the app doesn't open the article I wanted to read and instead it just opens to the app's homepage.
★★★★★ Also, about 30% of the time the app will open with a third of the screen blacked out requiring me to force close the app and reopen.
★★★★★ The pages won't turn and the text enlargement freezes.
18 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Another issue is less of the screen is dedicated to the newspaper page, because more space is consumed by ads and navigation.
★★★★★ Maddening to see a headline and a line or two then the story is blocked out unless you subscribe. Not enough quality content to pay for a subscription
★★★★★ After being subjected to a myriad number of reasons from the AJC as to why it made sense to abandon print, the paper has lost its way and become another typical vehicle for those with a short attention span, similar to…

★★★★★ You could have gone to two days a week or at least one!!!!
★★★★★ You'll notice the only positive reviews since the recent update are fake and planted by the AJC. This app and the AJC itself are no longer relevant. Why would anyone pay for this?
17 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Maybe the app works for reading today's news, but is completely useless for reading specific articles.
★★★★★ Riddled with Fake News and Trump bashing
★★★★★ App is pretty useless now since new update everything is pretty much behind a paywall
14 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ If I read online it takes forever to get the paper up, the app constantly shuts down unexpectedly or just closes the edition I'm reading and goes to the front page of the most recent edition.
★★★★★ Further, there is a lag when I scroll.
★★★★★ Also, the top 3 scrolling articles are slow to load and often don't work.

★★★★★ clean, easy to navigate, informative
★★★★★ Easy to navigate and can change size of print!
★★★★★ Simple news is about car wrecks, or leaking water pipes, or murders.

★★★★★ clean, easy to navigate, informative
★★★★★ I used to love the idea of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC); however, reading it was a pain with a clunky interface that made it hard to find news.
★★★★★ The new UI is very nice and much better than the WSB-TV app.
6 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ I love her quick immersion in humor before her “let's get to it”.
★★★★★ The app has a smooth interface that allows you to control details on the reader's experience: setting the screen to dark, finding content for specific topics, and customizing notifications.
★★★★★ Scrolling is smooth and no ads sitting at the bottom of the screen.
5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ Enjoying it very much on my iPad.
★★★★★ It keeps me from having to recycle and go outside to pick up the paper and I enjoy the online experience.
★★★★★ I enjoy reading the AJC, but do have two complaints.
4 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ I would find it visually helpful to have a headline-only option to be able to quickly scroll through to select articles.
★★★★★ This would be tremendously helpful.
★★★★★ The old one was useful and informative and the new one is colorful, but not news-focused.

Why even HAVE an iOS app when: You can’t zoom You can’t select text smaller than a paragraph, either to look up words or make notes to follow up. Little value unless you have a tablet. Not likely to renew my subscription.
The AJC is a reliable and fair news source for metro Atlanta. Sometimes I feel like my subscription ought to buy a little more than the 3-4 articles a day that seem to get posted some days, but I’ll look past that. A good chunk of my rating here comes from a bug I reported over two months ago that has still not been fixed. The app cuts off the final sentence of some paragraphs so that you can’t tell the full content. Support acknowledged the bug in mid-July, and across multiple releases since then I have heard nothing more. It’s time to fix the problems you know you have!
Who signed off on launching this app without a SEARCH function?!? It is absolutely maddening to not be able to search for articles I've read before or that someone suggests I read. As an app, it is well organized and easy to navigate, but the lack of a SEARCH function earns it one-star in my book.
The Gold Standard of apps is WSJ. This AJC app is terrible [or maybe it’s their support]! I give up-as a new subscriber and multiple efforts with their support team, I now give up! They simply cannot help me get full screen display on my 13” iPad. The results make reading near impossible plus navigating is a nightmare. They need to trash this app and start over! I’m asking for my subscription fee to be refunded.
This app has ceased to be working. I am no longer able to read the AJC on this app. I now am forced to google the morning paper and select ePaper. This occurred about a week ago!
This review is for the app/subscription service, not for the quality of the journalism. I have an active paid subscription through Apple and am signed into the same account in both the AJC app and on the AJC website. However, when I try to read articles in a web browser, the website tells me I do not have a subscription. Then, when I tap an AJC article link and choose “Open in AJC News” the app doesn’t open the article I wanted to read and instead it just opens to the app’s homepage. Oh, and there’s no search function in the app. Maybe the app works for reading today’s news, but is completely useless for reading specific articles. Extremely frustrating.
Same category, earning about as much.
Apple Search Ads this app ran in the last 90 days, from Apple's public ad repository.
Apple only publishes ads shown in the EU (EU Digital Services Act), with a 7 day delay. An app that advertises only outside the EU shows nothing here.
