Sudoku Epic

Very nice game to play. I enjoy it so much. It is the only one I play. One suggestion is for hints. The hint should not be what square to choose but it should be what is the best next step based on the current state of the game? We can learn much better this way.

Easy and fast to use. One of the best around. A few minor tweaks and it would be fantastic. The option to highlight note numbers with cells would make it easier to narrow down cells. And the ability to do a quick whole puzzle check to make sure you are on track.

Pretty decent game. I wish it had a score history.

At first, I was disappointed not to have a fact sheet about what the game icons meant, what the terms used in the instructions meant, etc. and how to use them. I always start with the easiest option when I start a new book or game to get in the swing of it. I figured, "How hard could it be to figure out?" I did figure it out just playing one game (badly), but I found I was making many finger errors. When I failed a game and saw what novice errors I was making, I realized how sensitive the keys are, and I must be way more careful how I hit the keys and remember to disengage the arrow keys. I enjoy working without hints and preset possibilities. I love the way the game automatically removes all the possible numbers when you fill in the fight one. After playing Sudoku for a number of years, I finally absorbed the basic tenet of the game: every move is logical-THOUGH OFTEN MIND BENDING at the high levels, and you never have to guess. If I can't find the connection, I'm just not seeing it and need to broaden my pertspective. After all, that's life.
