HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (168 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Their responses to bug reports, feature requests, and troubleshooting is pathetic. 1★, Aug 8, 2026
  • It gets 5 stars when you guys take the time to add the equipment to the app directly instead of making users log in on a browser. 4★, May 2, 2026
  • Also, please make it automatic that runs uploaded to TPs reflect rTSS scores. 5★, Mar 11, 2026

  • I'm pretty sure you do need a trainer to sue this app(maybe I'm wrong) but besides that it's an amazing app and it tracks much more metrics then most other apps 5★, Nov 29, 2025
  • Also part of the club was to do a MAP test which was part of the training peaks subscription, but I was charged $106 for the one test which should have been free. 1★, Nov 21, 2025

Zero development

These developers do not make meaningful changes ever. You still can’t edit a workout from the phone in 2026.

★★★★★Oct 13, 2026
Great App

Rating this app because the pop up asking to rate it has an option to never ask again. Speaks to the culture at Training Peaks. The app itself is great, I’ve used it for 6+ years now at this point. Does a good job at keeping track of all my training.

★★★★★Oct 13, 2026
How can it get worse?

When you think it’s as bad as it could be, they make the app worse. Now the data is missing from my strength WOs. I don’t l care about sets in TP bc it’s useless in this tool, but I would like to see my HR data that is no longer visible. Worthless app that only serves as a data data repository. Folks, just build your own tool in Claude.

★★★★★Oct 12, 2026
Still unstable.

Can’t close pop up ads

Fantastic for All Levels

I work with athletes at every level from general fitness to race specific prep. As a Sports Nutritionist I also love the interaction with Hexis to help athletes properly fuel for their efforts.

going downhill

i used to love trainingpeaks, but after garmin acquired it, it has been plagued with errors and features that no longer work. shame on you garmin for ruining a good thing. time to check out the apple watch 12 and build my own app using AI.
