WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Bugs, things not working19%

33 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Every file I opened it in just a no audio error, I can't imagine why nobody wants to buy this garbage.
★★★★★ This Is Very Stupid Because It's Saying That I Need To Save Before I Can Share But Every Time This Happens It Will Say Saving Failed.
★★★★★ I have been starting to turn my old LP records into mp3 files and was hoping to use this app to edit them on the go. I have the files saved locally to my iPad, but the app won't recognize it as an audio file, even…
Price and subscription18%

30 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Edit: Trial software on some features.
★★★★★ Tricks you into thinking that it's mostly free, then hits you with a paywall when your used to the app.
★★★★★ The app is not that great to be a subscription based model.
Crashes and freezes9%

16 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The phone has plenty of power to run this program, however, it freezes after basically any action.
★★★★★ When pressing the “file” button or some other buttons like the Waveform button and the Split button, or if I'm tapping and holding/swiping the screen sometimes, it freezes/crashes my phone.
★★★★★ I cant open files without it freezing and crashing.
Wrong or poor results9%

16 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Again, never get this useless dumb app.
★★★★★ I just started testing WavePad by importing several iTunes and CD song files onto my iPhone 8. I immediately noticed the audio conversion to monophonic and low bit-rate audio quality. I searched Google and the NCH…
★★★★★ You can't open any files and if you manage to open one everything is blocked
Lost data, sync, backup9%

15 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ You continuously lose track of where you are, and accidentally select/deselect things so it's hard to get anything done.
★★★★★ If it was worth my money I'll not know, and you lost money.
★★★★★ I immediately deleted this app...
No customer support9%

15 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Please, do not make me write to your support.
★★★★★ WavePad folks, please fix this or contact me about a refund.
★★★★★ Doesn't support file sharing so it's not on the file sharing list in the file app.
Missing features8%

14 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ There's a problem and I'm very upset because the view is missing
★★★★★ But still, It is useless, AND Again, you can't even CHANGE the pitch.
★★★★★ I shouldn't have to wonder if it's your lack of capability or desire to get paid that isn't allowing me to use the app.
Worse after an update7%

12 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ July 9, 2023 I have the latest version of Wavepad on my late version iPad, it's own software fully updated, so that cannot be a factor.
★★★★★ UPDATE: I have now also tried the desktop version of this app and although the interface is nice to use, the cost of this software is ridiculously expensive for my humble purposes of splitting mp3 recordings from Vinyl…
★★★★★ I'm using an older version of WavePad on the old device — maybe they broke something with an update.

  • It would be nice if it was a little less complicated but other than that, it is a great app really I think that it's the best of these cut and edit podcast apps and I also loved that it tells you how loud you are. 5★, Jan 3, 2025
  • I wish the tutorials were a little more useful though with more detail. 5★, Jul 30, 2024
  • I just gotta add some funds to my account first chance I get. 5★, May 13, 2024
  • I know it is a full featured audio editor, but there's just one suggestion that I would love to have implemented into this app. 4★, Dec 24, 2023
  • I was thinking for some of us blind users who can't use the app fully, I was thinking could you make the app more accessible to voiceover users as well? 4★, Dec 24, 2023
  • Wonderful, that's exactly what I need and it works well. 1★, May 13, 2023
