For a newspaper that was very early on the Internet in Ireland the app is a dud. My biggest complaint is that the front page repeats the same stories multiple times while “hiding” a lot of good material inside. They clearly don’t invest in it. Do better, TIT!
I have a dozen news apps and this is the only one where I have to turn off my device security (Privacy Pro) before it will load.
Logged in to find that I am being asked to submit and save my cookie preferences for every article. I can’t read an article any more without submitting cookie preferences EVERY time! Does anyone in there test updates before releasing them? 🤬
One of the worst apps I’ve ever DL’d on my iPhone. The developers thought it was a good idea to continually check if you’re logged into iCloud — if you’re not, a dialog box appears and reappears etc requiring you to turn off your phone to be able to get out of the app.
They used to have a perfectly good app which is now replaced by a much less user friendly one. It crashes frequently and won’t work offline. I cancelled subscription and hope they can improve it. Only reason for 2 stars is that it’s Irelands paper of record
