Latest reviews, Germany App Store.
This is an excellent app which I have used every day for years. The interface is very intuitive and the content is second to none. However, the app has one major flaw which makes it impossible to use at bedtime: there is no “Night Mode.“ The bright background is just too bright in the evening. The app has a few themes, so it is puzzling why after all these years, there is no night mode. 4 stars.
When clicking on Anima Christi pray it brings up the Canticle of Zachariah. How frustrating. Overall, I have subscribed to the Magnificat publication for many years. And I enjoy the publication and the handy app when I am traveling. I am intentionally reviewing this with only one star in the hopes that someone will make the Anima Christi available.
This is great for daily and Sunday Mass readings. 100% recommendation. Well worth it. Only place for improvement would be to add a page or two in the monthly magazine and a small section in the app for a few standard prayers like the act of contrition or the Rite of Reconciliation. Maybe it’s in there and I haven’t found it. Peace! 👍🙏👍💪
Absolutely worthless app if you’re planning on using it at night. The app lights up my house more so than the flashlight on my phone. There is apparently a nighttime reader setting if you are online, but none in the app itself. What gives?
The Fold out is a Home Run
I ordered the book version of Magnificat and have been a customer for at least 10 years. For the past year the books arrive inconsistently. As of this month it is the 6 th of the month already and no book. I’m paid up until 2030. I’ve tried to download the digital copy which I should be able to do ,but every time I try it ask for more money. I’ve called about this problem more than once and receive guarantees that fall through. My next step if not resolved satisfactorily will be to cancel my subscription and request a refund.
