When you don’t pay for it, they overinflate your likes and views with fake and foreign profiles to entice you to give them money. When you do pay, you hardly see anyone unless you live in a well populated area.
I owe a heartfelt thank you because of this app’s passport mode I was able to meet the love of my life and it’s the best relationship I ever had!! Thank you so much for passport mode, I was able to meet an incredible Filipina girl and after a year of talking we met and she’s the kindest, most genuine and loving human being I ever had the pleasure of dating. Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
OkCupid’s platform is riddled with suspicious, misleading, and potentially fake profiles, yet the company continues to charge users for access to its services. That is unacceptable. People join dating platforms because they genuinely want to meet other people, build relationships, and establish meaningful connections. Instead, users are left questioning whether the people they are interacting with are real, whether profiles accurately represent the individuals behind them, and whether the service they are paying for delivers what it promises. The audacity of charging customers for a service when there are serious concerns about the authenticity of the profiles on that platform is astounding. Users should not have to spend their time and money investigating whether the person on the other end of a conversation actually exists or is genuinely interested in meeting someone. If OkCupid is aware that fake or deceptive profiles are a recurring problem and continues to collect membership fees without taking meaningful steps to address it, that raises serious questions about its priorities and its responsibility to paying customers. I expect more than generic assurances. I expect OkCupid to explain what measures it takes to identify and remove fraudulent profiles, how it protects paying members from deceptive accounts, and what recourse is available when users pay for a service undermined by those accounts. Dating is already difficult enough without having to navigate a platform where authenticity itself has become a question mark. Customers deserve transparency, accountability, and a legitimate opportunity to connect with real people. If OkCupid cannot adequately protect the integrity of its platform, it should reconsider whether it is justified in charging users for the privilege of using it. Stop treating users’ money as guaranteed revenue while leaving them to question whether the service they purchased is genuine. Fix the problem, be transparent about its scope, and hold the platform accountable.
Why do all these apps eventually end up being full of obvious fake profiles? And LOL at the prices to join. $40/mo? People pay that much for this? I hope that $40 at least got rid of your ads. If not, you're being finessed. Good grief. No wonder you're broke, I can only imagine what else you're over paying for
This is the first app I believe I’ve actually made traction . I believe they have a tricky way of keeping it simple and looking simple but they ask 9 million more questions than the other sites. So when you connect your confidence is boosted due to the fact you ate l;Ike minded in all aspects. Behind the curtain bravo and in front woooooorrrrrdd. Because the other sites its like there resume is on the the screen with their photo. Whoever came up with this platform is genius. Now if you can hey your marketing department going. I think most think it’s one of those fly by night apps.advertise the success rates and your demographics are so perfect urban professionals. No proof reading back to the club
